The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Kill: Character Zero. I used to have a pretty deep love/hate relationship with this song since it signaled the end of the set or show. I've accepted it now, but I would be fine not catching this one again.
F: Down with Disease. It was a tough call on this one because DwD is such a great vehicle and I've seen some awesome ones. The tipping point for me is that it shows up as the second set opener so much and I want a little more variety.
Marry: Piper. I feel Piper has a nice range for how it's utilized, so I guess we're in it for the long haul.
