I don't have stats, but I think (as an old deadhead) that the band did do St. Stephen from time to time.OTOH, we used to scream "Cosmic Charlie" at shows in the 70s and Garcia just smiled. That might be a better example of a Dead rarity.

I started seeing the dead in 86. I never saw them play it, however, it was in heavy rotation up to that point. Lastt performance was 10-31-83.

One day Phish will play a concert at the Hollywood Bowl and they will play Icculus -> Alumni. To do this they will finally continue the riff at the end of Icculus hereby putting all our souls to rest
