Thunder how about a PIPER opener!!

hoping we get another taper feed on hoodstream. Totally off the hook listening live to tunes the
It's Ice, Cities > Moma, Gin and Simple from last night.

Anyone else remember when you had to bring some tapes, meet a taper and wait for a good month
after tour to get a DAUD/2 XLII in the mail. I sure do. It was awesome getting a nice crispy tape in the mail. Getting tapes from Fall 97 (11/16/97 Dever was the first 'trade' I did on the interweb), it was so good, I kept trading for more shows, and everyone was off the hook. Got me hooked hard on Phish. Definitely went from a fan to a PHAN!

I remember on 99 tour we met up with these guys, taper was Ted G I think, and they were staying at the same campground we were in jersey. We got our minds blown off at the show, then came back and did it all over again in the campground. I remember that feeling this day. Re-living that Split Open > Kung> Jam madness. 7/15/99 I think. Oh man, what a show. That one upped the feeling of getting that tape in the mail. Just because of the phreshness of it all. But what happened to me last night, WOAH!

Anyways, I just can't get over listening to shows live, on the other side of the country AS IT'S HAPPENING. Such a treat. However you tapers who are streaming are doing it, keep bringing us the magic, it is so very much appreciated.

Again, THANK YOU TAPERS!!

me_no_are_no_nice_guy Didn't do a ton of trading in the mail, a little, but most of my tapes came from the hippy that worked at the local 7/11. It was awesome to be part of the community back then when everything wasn't so instantly available, and you cherished the shows you got to hear.
