Today I wore my Phish logo shirt. I sat down in class (5th day) and this guy who I met on the first day sees me wearing it. He says, "Dude, my boss gave me this old Phish poster from back in the day and I have it in my closet, you want it?" I'm like, "PHUCK YES I WOULD." I was blown away. I couldn't believe my luck! I followed up just to make sure it was for real and he gave me a guarantee! I'm crazy pumped right now!
Still wearing my Phish shirt, I see a girl who has some Grateful Dead stickers on her computer. We get to talking and it turns out that she is a huge phan, went to the Miami New Years show, Alpharetta, other shows too. You guys have to understand that I have only ever met like, 4 people who like Phish, let alone heard of them. That group increased by 25% today!
It was a good day to be a phan!

Whoa while I was reading this my Mama walks in my room and was like "there was a guy at Harvest Moon (bar/restaurant in my town) wearing your Harpua shirt. So I was like "Phish!" and the waitress/bartender said, "You know Phish?"
hahaha I laughed
hahaha I laughed
Last year, walking around my neighborhood singing phish tunes at the top of my lungs, as usual, when somebody came up to me and sang Guyute along with me. Never saw him again, but it gave me hope that if I keep singing and putting myself out there, I will find others that are just like me: A PHAN!

This morning I walked in to my son's room (he's two and a half) to wake him up. Before I open the door, I can hear him in his room singing. I stood there for about 30 seconds listening to him go, "..do do my sweet ooooonnneee..you're my sweeeeeet onnnnnneeee".PHUCKING AWESOME MAN!

But, today, my neighbor was playing super loud music, and I mean wtf loud. But I perked up and said, that's REBA! I dug around in a box, grabbed a sticker, went and knocked on his door and handed it to him when he opened it and thanked him for the tunes.
What a GREAT Phish moment for me today!!!!
Which begs the question..when will Phish play...

A buddy of mine called me at 2am this morning..he's in New Zealand on a peace mission. He forgot about the time difference. Anyways...he swears a local kid behind him in line at a fish market was wearing the Tide Glide shirt. Which begs the question..when will Phish play...at a fish market? hehehe.
It was just last year. I live in CO and got shafted on all of my attempts to get tickets to any of the Red Rocks 2009 shows. I was totally bummed about the whole thing and trying to forget it and move on. My best friend's brother works for a record label and about two months before the shows, I was at a Gov't Mule show with my friend. Out of no where he whips out four single tickets to each night! A gift from his brother to me! GREATEST MIRACLE EVER! And don't worry they were legit tickets, NOT from a scalper. I through my arms around my friend and gave him a big hug. I received a burn from his cigarette on the back of my hand which serves as a reminder to me of the karma (if you will) of the whole thing.
God, I love this band!
I have Phish shirts from every tour that I've been to. I will say that some of the shirts I've had made special cause some of the concert shirts I really didn't care for, so I've had this guy who does shirts make some shirts for me with the Phish logo on the front and the tour dates on the back. There's only one that I got outside of the arena that I really don't care for and I'm going to get this guy to make me one from the 2002(New Years Eve)-2003 tour where I saw them down in Cincinnati. Then I will have a shirt from every tour that I've been to. I even have a few that I'm going to part with cause I have too many now. The most special Phish shirt I have is when I saw them at Deer Creek in 2003 all 3 nights. My shirt has their logo on the front and on the back it says: I survived 3 days of Phishing at Deer Creek, July 21, 22, 23, 2003. I had to have this shirt made twice cause I was in a accident in Sept. 2003, and they cut the other off me at the hospital. Those bastards!
