after watching a dog log video from hampton '99 i noticed where everyone is standing on stage is different than phish 2.0 and 3.0 and even some of 1.0...anybody know how long its been the page, trey, mike, fish (right to left) stage set up?

i was gonna post the same question earlier. somone who KNOWS will come clear this up.
all i can say is that mid-nineties is was definetely the way it is now. (the way it really ought to be) then it changed right around 99 i think. thats when there sound started "thinning out" to my ears. Not the same thickness that they seem to have gotten back since reuniting.
not sure when they changed back though to their present formation . it sure was akward though.
does page also seem more opened up? as in, you can see his body more in those 99 shots?
