So I'm sure some of us have noticed how the drum fill that ends Reba is strikingly similar to that which begins Peaches.
So I propose...
Reba > Peaches, where the very last drum hit of Reba is the very first of Peaches, basically doubling up Fish's fill
Im pretty sure it has not ever before been done, but if it has, let me know the show.
If you like it, spread the word, maybe we can make this happen dudes
Why if Fish did the Peaches drums instead of the ending for Reba then the boys would go right into it!Well if that were to happen, select audience members' heads would explode. There should be the opening Peaches fill on it's own
how about this shit...call it SPLIT OPEN AND FOAM..
fall-allll-alll-alling in-to-a-deep....MELT, split open and melt...
thats the ultimate transition that is waiting to happen . imho. imho baby.

i had a daydream the day after meatprise a few weeks ago: meat on the stick...
meatstick-> fire on the mountain-> meatstick
meatstick-> fire on the mountain-> meatstick
i do agree though...reba's peaches would work.
vocal jam -> halley's comet
W/ or w/out a Harpua and story.
Mikes> sparks> weekapaug
mcgrupp> slave> peaches
I've always imagined an arpeggio jam between Silent and YEM would be incredible.this would be greatly orgasmic
as for me, i've always wanted a burly cross eyed> ghost combo.

ive always wondered this too, always been very interested in the "science" behind set list composition, like do they plan on jamming for 20 min on one song then segueing into the next or stopping then starting again, and if they do decide to jam what songs do they leave out that were supposed to be played, always been curious about shit like that.
I wonder if the band thinks about this kinf of this stuff.

No, seriously, this would be infuckingcredible. The segue wouldn't be too hard to pull off while they're already funking around in G minor (for theory people, all they'd have to do would be to lower the sixth scale degree from E for YEM to E-flat for Punches). My fantasy segue.
Another one I dream about sometimes is SOAM -> Gimme Shelter -> SOAM. Also both in C#.
Mcgrupp-> dogs stole things-> mound

This is what my pal and I like to call the dream segue.

I don't know how I haven't thought of this 'til now... sweet baby Jesus, that would be incredible.
That, or Wilson > Peaches. When Trey does the "BLAT-BOOM-BA-DIGGY-DOOM-BIBBY-DOM", have THAT be the intro to Peaches. (It was brought up a while back, no idea which thread).
"boy, man... I saw it again!"
I'l leave this to the imagination of yall. it seems pretty obvious in my head where this should begin in YEM, and how awesome this would be
If I had answered this question last year, my answer would have been DwD> Ghost, but they made that dream come true on new years eve, and I heard it streaming live on my couch, and simply lost it. Worth every penny. If I had been there, they'd be carrying me out on a stretcher is all I can say...
This is what my pal and I like to call the dream segue. It would be a whole lot better than Reba> Walk the Line> Reba. Never understood that one.

46 Days-> Sneakin Sally. There both in B so like they could be doing a funky jam during 46 Days and then Trey could play the E>D in Sneakin Sally then they could start it off.It is physically impossible for Trey to start Sally in B. He always f*cks it up these days.
Why if Fish did the Peaches drums instead of the ending for Reba then the boys would go right into it!I agree here. If they finished reba on that last beat and then did the opening peaches drum fill, it would be a nearly identical drum fill twice in a row, which would work but....
I think if they just used that very last drum fill on reba as the opening to peaches, the segue would be flawless. I know i would lose my shit. and then some.
Reba> Peaches MSG 2012
this would be clean and nasty.
anyone know if this has been done before?
mid piper jam (guitar lead) > mid paug jam2-22-03 might be as close as it gets!

The list goes on & on. .net should be read by phsh for inspiration, I don't even
Think they even hang out or necessarily like. Each other all that much anymore.
Maybe that's natural after 30 yrs, why there needs to be hiatus. They used to
Live together & travel together. You cannot create that type of magic artificially.
I think some of theses ideas are very clever & very phsh
@jaJunkFood said:That wilson> peaches idea is cool cuz there is this video of trey doing some vocal thing before the drums for peaches starts (or maybe during the beginning drum. This is what my pal and I like to call the dream segue.
