@theesloth
Would you settle for a cover of "Power" by Kanye West?
I know it's kinda cheese, but I always thought Billy Joel's Scenes From an Italian Restaurant would make a fun cover. @theesloth Would you settle for a cover of "Power" by Kanye West? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e1B2YMQNlUI fuckin saw that on Saturday night and it made me want to vomit! pink floyd: sheep (i know vida blue already did it), echoes, free four, childhood's end- really anything off meddle, obscured by clouds, or animals
dead: shakedown street, west l.a. fade away (w/o bobby), and ramble on rose
talking heads: i zimbra, moon rocks, life during war time, clean break, drugs (electricity), and swamp
coltrane: anything a love supreme, out of this world
miles davis: right off, anything bitches brew or on the corner (this one would be nuts)
medeski martin and wood: chubb sub, retirement song, and uninvisible
zappa: king kong, help i'm a rock
claypool/primus: up on the roof, elephant ghost, the dutchess and the proverbial mind spread, rumble of the diesel, and the toys go winding down
little feat: down on the farm (would be great at deer creek) or fat man in the bathtub
and last but not least...
WEEN: flutes of the chi (i've been pulling for this one a REALLY long time), transdermal celebration, dancing in the show (this would be hilarious!), and lmlyp (say a valentine's day cover...haha)
I would love to hear Phish play Dixie Chicken by Little Feet with Page pounding the keys!
