Any Fans?I have boxes of VCR taped shows from both Comedy Central and the Sci Fi days.
I mainly watch them via streaming netflix now though.

I can't believe Joel left the show. Never liked Mike, was that his replacement? Mitchell w/ Joe Don Baker is one of my favorites.

Mike Nelson was his replacement. I like certain aspects of each Mike and Joel. Joel could be a little too "mellow" sometimes. Space Mutiny is my all time favorite episode. The Joe Don Baker episodes are great though, Mitchell and Final Justice.

For me it was funny that they were based out of the Minneapolis area. I live just a two hours south. Many of their references were "local".I've never done "Rifftrax" though I've watched a few of their clips on youtube. Basically mst3k except they often use newer movies.

I posted a little while back in GM that a co-worker (in her late 50s) came in and gave me all of her son's old VHS tapes. We never had a discussion about the show; I hardly even know her. But apparently, she has me peg'd as a MST3K fan. I was flattered.

I have to go along with @Looks2Much as your avatar, @JayDubya, has always been my personal favorite on the .Net.I've been a fan since High School, where a close friend and I collectively created the complete MST3K catalog on VHS in the mid-90s. I remember once dropping a Homecoming date, with which I became particularly annoyed with, off early in order to get home catch the Saturday midnight showing on SciFi.
I hadn't seen an episode for years until this past February, right after the Pack won the Superbowl when my buddy posted this to my facebook. I realized almost every episode is now on youtube so I am always watching my old favorites...

I prefer Tom Servo myself as well. @AugustWest2001 not all of them are on Netflix Instant, but there are many. They come and go it seems, so there are always new ones to check out. There are also episodes on the Netflix DVD queue to have mailed to your house, some of which aren't on instant.

Big fan of the show for many years. Nearly impossible to pick a favorite episode, but Cave Dwellers is pretty high up on the list. The absurdity of that movie is just fantastic, why the hell is he hangliding all of a sudden?! What the wtf was going on during the credits?!My favorite bot has got to be Gypsy hands down. She is just so sweet and innocent.
Joel vs Mike is a tough debate. I have always been partial to Joel myself, but the humor is much more subtle and geeky than the Mike episodes. The real winner of course is TV's Frank.
Turn down the lights (where applicable) and don't forget to keep circulating those tapes.

MSTK is a classic. I agree withe Servo Fan's as Favorite Bot.

One of my all time favorite shows! It's a one of a kind idea for a TV show which makes it so brilliant. I've never seen anything quite like it. I still watch it all the time!I like both the Joel episodes and the Mike episodes. Mike Nelson was the head writer for most of the show's run.

Never watched it much but I do remember one..... Aliens invade a farm or something and plaid was involved I think cause the line that stuck with me was something to the effect of " hurry, blue light special on plaid at KMart" as the aliens were running through the woods.... Laughed my ass of at that line back then.... Plaid People?

Full episodes on youtube now. Watched space mutiny today for the first time since I was a kid. That movie is so absurd, love when the woman who is murdered is working at her desk in the very next scene^ Touch of Satan is my all time favorite episode.
