anyone here every played ocarina of time masterquest? it came with the preordering of windwaker, and having played through the original countless times, the way they mix up the dungeons is phenomenal. after like ten years, i finally finished up my majora's mask game. that game has a crazy amount of depth and story for a n64 game. having said that, i was also heavily into wow, especially during vanilla and burning crusade. did MC BDR (i think thats it, the 10 man with the dragon egg section featured in the leroy jenkins video) and AQ20 in the original. raided heavily in BC, feral druid OT in my guild, got like full tier 5 i think it was? raided up to SSC, and the floating raid in the netherworld or something i forget what it was called. tempest keep i think it was. so much time wasted on that game, i think my /played was at over 50 days or something like that, not to mentions my other toons.
now that i'm a full time student with other interests, video games don't get as much attention as they used to. do play a lot of reach though, good multiplayer phun. the bioshock series is dope, really the only recent games i've gotten into.

I have been trying to like skyward sword, but I just don't so much. There is far too much backtracking for my taste and I don't care at all about any of the sidequests, heck it's all I can do to get thru the main quest. Still better than many games put out, but I am severely underwhelmed by it. The helper lady is just annoying and pops up way too much to give advice that I don't need or ask for. One thing that would make the game much much better would be a difficulty slider to turn off a lot of the "help" it tries to provide. Also, I know how much a red rupee is worth after the first 15 times you tell me and I really only need to see the flavor text for Amber Relics once or twice. Such a shame, I really wanted to love that game too.

What a whiny bitch. It does everything once every time its turned on. Ignore the help, don't fukin read it. It sounds to me like you went into the game npt wanting to like it an are picking out tiny flaws. Or flaws to you. Whatever, opinions are just that. I loved it and its up there with OoT.

I am very much addicted to NBA Jams On Fire Edition right now. The Celtics with Bird and Allen are pretty much unstoppable.

I have had more fun playing nintendo games than I have playing any others - except for final fantasy 5,6,7,8,9, and to a lesser extent, 10. PS3 entices me only for the new Metal Gear Solid, Devil May Cry 3, a few titles here and there.But PS3 and XBOX combined couldnt hold my and my friends' attention half as long as f***ing Brawl, or Mario Tennis
Wii is more like Phish - the real deal, all about the fun, enjoying yourself
PS3/360 is more like Avenged Sevenfold - flashy and graphics driven, but strip back the BS and you realize you've just been blowing yourself for 3 hours.
If you like FPS, get a freaking DESKTOP

CS:GO needs to come out sooner.Rift is okay, Still like WoW better, thats just because I started playing WoW pre-BC and watched it evolve and such with all the expansions. I did enjoy the PVP a lot though. real well put together.
League Of Legends is my shit though.
Also found this sweet little browser based RPG kinda game called "Realm Of The Mad God" Someone should check it out.

Can't wait for CS:GOPS3/360 players should look into this game "Nexuiz." It's a crazy fast-paced shooter and only cost me 10 bucks to download from the Xbox live marketplace. Seriously, it's an awesome game.
360/PC players should check out "Shadowrun." It's another shooter, similar to CS. It's an older game, so it's pretty cheap on Amazon.

I've been completely absorbed with Star Wars TOR(The Old Republic). If your a Star Wars freak like I am and like video games like WoW this might be for you. I just got to lvl 50 jedi sentinel and I still feel like a noob.

My friend brought over his 360 the other day with Skyrim, and now I desperately want to own both of those things. That game is immense and addicting! Probably best I dont own it or I would never see sunlight ever again.

I forgot how clunky the movement controls are. Trying to get a big group to go anywhere without half of them going in the other direction is a pain in the ass. I also forgot how colossally stupid the AI is. And of course it was still fun anyway.

I loved SC2 when it was first released. Got into low Diamond latter, spent more time reading about the game than playing it. No longer do. Would love some PC suggestion from you folks. Loved WoW for a while. Feels like video games have never been the same since.
