this is for all of those that thought after 10/30 that phish would butcher a zeppelin album cover....hmm.
oh yeah, they brought this one over from page's vida blue catalog. what's next, sheep?!
what's next, sheep?!I will shit myself if I hear ANY Floyd come from a Phish stage. One Of These Days is my f***ing dream opener. It could happen, maybe, just maybe one of these days
sheep in cincy. you heard it here first!
echoes would be so EPIC!!
the world could end at the end of it and i wouldnt care.

Just watched this on YouTube, and all I have to say is wow. Can't wait to see what the Blossom show has in store for us this weekend.
i never thought they would do this. absolute dream cover. vida blue did it a bunch of times. page rocked it
Either way, this show was like a hard rock phish show. Carini, Wilson, axilla, Tweezer, no quarter, stealing time, first tube, KDF and SOAMelt. heavier that the average phish show, but I am in no way complaining; my black socks were thoroughly rocked off last night. Plus I forgot that they played Tweezer by the time the encore came so o thought show of life was the end of the show
Anything off of Piper At the Gates of Dawn would rock my world.Bike is always fun. But Interstellar Overdrive would be more awesomer.
tweezer was awesome i was just barely underneath the pavilion when it rained. only my back got wet and it felt amazing. the rain definitely added to the energy of that song. and no quarter... well thats all that really needs to be said.
I didn't think the Tweezer was great, but, yeah, the No Quarter is really really badass and well done.
tweezer was awesome i was just barely underneath the pavilion when it rained. only my back got wet and it felt amazing. the rain definitely added to the energy of that song. and no quarter... well thats all that really needs to be said.We were on the lawn when the rain started...didn't last more than 10 minutes but with the wind and lightning...could care less that we were getting soaked...Tweezer was good...but the segue into No Quater...crowd caught on right away...took me a few to realize what they were playing...but man, hands down the highlight of both nights...
I thought the Tweezer went in and out of major-key jamming very nicely. Wasn't the longest version, but some of the interplay between the four was outstanding. Big fan of the opening trifecta to start the set as I thought some of the riffs Trey laid down in Carini were a bit out of the box for him. Though, too bad they didn't explore during Carini like they did last fall.I agree, Carini in Worcester was miles ahead of Bethel.
No Quarter was epic, and I will ignore the rest of that set. None of it flowed too well. Still good show overall, don't get me wrong, just lacking.
Very well played the highlight of the show for me
Edit: just read the thread. Looks like other people are having the same thoughts haha
dude that was insane. but i dont understand why people are giving the rest of the 2nd set bad reviews. it was awesome. TWEEZER IN THE RAIN. awesome combination of carini, piper, twist. An unbelievable ghost which makes me happy because the recent ghosts have been stale. And i have never been a backwards down fan until i heard it last night. It was starting to kill my vibe but the jam at the end made me warm up to it
I think you could sense the crowd's collective disappointment when they cut ghost short, but make no mistake that number line was one of the best. plus ghost packed a serious punch.
