Hey all... looking for some specifics:
1) Start stop jams (jam out of Possum into Cavern from the Island Tour comes to mind). They are ON when the the stop/start finds its way out.
2) Unique versions of any song (Cities from the Lucerna in Prague '98, the aforementioned Cavern and obviously Sleeping Monkey from SBIX are examples).
If anyone could drop a couple dates that come to mind I'd appreciate it.
Haven't posted much recently; I hope everyone is having a good summer... Thanks!!

I haven't heard a ton of other Mikes' from 99/00, but this groove (the groove Mike's song, not the whole Mike's Groove) is unique from any other I've heard with awesome stop/start sickness towards the end.
Mike's 6.28.2000 fits both criteria. Sick, thanks guys.
1997/12/07 Tube, it has the tube reprise jam
1997/12/29 Tube, some great start/stop featuring everyone.
*** Edit above: "...the groove within Mike's Song..." @forbin1 knows what I meant.I try to promote this Mike's as much as I can...

You've mentioned the Cities from Prague '98 but what about the Maze from that show. I was just enjoying that yesterday and its so sick when they stop the jam on a dime, thank the crowd, and continue the jam at shredding pace as if not stopping at all.
bump.
Mike's> Catapult> Mike's> Kung> Mike's> I Didn't Know from 9/29/1999 in Memphis has some killer start/stop jamming. Not to mention one of the greatest 2001's you will hear.

11-28-97 has a Ghost that epitomizes start/stop jamming. The YEM is also very good.
8/11/04 - 2001. Great stop start jamming. In fact, im going to listen to it right now.

@katphan said:Yes it was! "What did all the songs in the first set have in common besides Driver" was the trivia question. Answer: Key of D. I remember trying my hardest to figure out the answer and I was nowhere close to having "Key of D" as the answer.Mike's> Catapult> Mike's> Kung> Mike's> I Didn't Know from 9/29/1999 in Memphis has some killer start/stop jamming.
