I think I move like this guy
But I wish I could move like this guy he has a very loose but precise form.
though when the boys get really funky I've been known to get down similarly to this
i wish i could get down as seriously as this:
@ivylight had a "how do you groove?" thread not long ago. Ca't search for the link on my iPhone. Here it is.
I've been told I rock the jazz hands.rad, YES you do! It is awesome, and every time we are raging a show together and i see the jazz hands, it gets me that much more excited.

oh and i just get DOWN to it. To the point where i don't really notice the people around me, just me, the music and the band, and my crazy dancing moves.
So people go to shows and spend time recording other fans dancing. For real? Those two in the OP werent even crazy weird spun out dancing. Kinda "normal" if you ask me. Why the hell would some shmuck tape that? To make fun? Not knockin the OP but rather the douche shooting the vid. Maybe im just cranky today but that shit really bothered meKind of makes me wonder if I am on a Youtube video somewhere. I dance like I feel.. and can give two turds who is watching me. That's one of the best parts about good, live music.
Feel good music, I've been told... Good for your body, Good for your soul
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xy0z-oqno7o I get entirely to excited. 6:27.
i bet you do...did...rock on frizz!
edit// i believe there are better pics of you gettin down, or atleast gettin up (on stage)....
Who really tapes people dancing at the show..?
People with cameras.
I'm just guessing here.
Everyone looks like a fool when the boogie.
I quite enjoy the people that embrace the foolishness and those who capture it.
How does this ruin your good time? Or anyone's for that matter? Hell if I was recorded you'd most likely see head banging, feet shuffling and air instruments.
more or less
I've been told I rock the jazz hands.ALong with a rage face :O

I usually hone in on the rhythm section so I feel Mike and Fish straight to my core. But lately, I've been feeling kind of synced up with Trey.
Regardless, I probably look like I'm having some kind of ridiculous euphoric seizure.
One thing's for sure: If it's Sand or Moma or Ghost or Boogie On, I'm getting low and dirty and probably am clearing some space. I always am apologizing to the people around me 'cause I feel like my huge ass is busting into their space. Everyone has always been gracious and it has had the added benefit of being a conversation starter and a great way to meet my neighbors.
So...how do I groove? 120%. That's probably the best way to describe it. I dunno. Some of you must've seen me bust some moves. Pretty retarded, amiright?

I have a zombie like dance where I flail my arms around like a crazy zombie piano player that is mechanically driven by the music. This dance has been known to overrun Page side of venues like a herd of mindless zombies that are controlled only by the music....
My night gown: Shit gets pretty cray cray.
The area was totally open and empty...idk why they had to sit RIGHT NEXT to where I was dancing.
At this summer's Long Beach show, there were a few Asian-American guys in the row in front of me. They spoke Japanese, and they were dancing in a sort of dorky fashion, though I'm the last person in the world qualified to judge the overall dorkiness of someone else dancing.
A husband and wife down the row were laughing at them and videoing them with her phone.
I was bummed out. I would not be surprised if those guys had actually flown here from Japan ( cause the dollar/yen exchange rate is lopsided in their favor, and Phish aren't playing Japan ); they didn't deserve to be mocked. I should have filmed the couple with MY iphone so they'd see how it felt. Assholes.
