Oops. Too many.
I don't think my taste is that of most of my fellow Phish fans. Beyond GD and Phish, I find all other 'jam bands' to be boring fluff compared to other forms of improvisational music and simplistic compared to other forms of composition. but GD and Phish rule.

5. The Who
6. Pink Floyd
7. Led Zeppelin
8. The Band
9. CSNY
These are all bands that I have had healthy obsessions with at some point in my life. The Beatles being the longest lasting and Phish being something that is here today making them the top 2. The reason I stopped at 9 is because of all the other stuff I listen to, I've never gotten as deep into as I have these bands. The Who was my first obsession which started it all.
QueenDoughty and Soul Coughing would be right up there for me.

This is obviously the family tree of good music
Also, some of you should never have passed kindergarten. 1,2,3,4,5 is how you count to 5. If allowed 6 choices I would have included The Beatles, but obviously Taylor is better.
