Does anyone watch this? I love it and am super hyped for season2 premiere sunday!

Full Disclosure: I kinda got a thing about zombie movies, shows ect....
Just finished World War Z by max brooks. Cant wait for that movie to come out!

Well im half way thru season 1! and even more stoked for season2!

I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Frank can always make a good thing happen on the screen.

This inspired me to watch and I just finished the first episode of the first season. All I can say is wow, this show is great and one of the most intense shows I have ever watched.

Agreed. The acting ranges from melodramatic to plain bad. There were also some major editing gaffes in the first season.

BUT

I love all things zombie and I'll continue to watch every episode. Im dvr-ing it now. I never read the comics and Im dying to know what that scientist whispered to Rick at the end of season 1.

i can agree on some of the technical effects in season one were... well not the best... but

one way too look at it though is that this is about zombies, and most all classic zombie flicks are low brow low budget movies filmed with b list actors and actresses. so it is kinda fitting in a way.

So much suspense! And what an end to the first episode! HOLY COW!!!

That kid got what he deserved. Anyone who gets that mesmerized by a deer needs a bullet through the gut.

All in all a nice suspenseful episode. Hiding under the cars while the herd passed through was tense.

And I've decided the only guy who can legitimately act is the badass with the crossbow. He's good.

I get that zombie stuff is inherently corny. I'm just not convinced that's what they're going for in this show. It feels like they're really trying to pull off legit drama but the performances and dialogue aren't hitting the mark for me. It reminds me a little of The Stand in that regard. I loved The Stand but I rolled my eyes almost the whole way through.

great show, keeps getting better, i have high hopes...

Love this show. Literally just caught up on season 1 last week on Netflix for the transition into season 2. The survivalist inside me now says I need a crossbow.

Back to the Walking Dead premiere, mehhh. But those coming attractions look very promising. I can already see some characters from the books that are going to be making an appearance. It should be a really good season.

Good first episode. I like the way they dialed up the suspense.

But the bad acting or writing or whatever it is does get in the way of really loving the show, especially when you compare it to how great the acting on Breaking Bad is.

Long stretches of boring dialogue between characters you just don't care about. It's like watching a porn because you just have to skip over the pointless banter that leads up to the money scene with the zombies.

It is from the very first episode. I dont want to spoil it for you, but since you asked...

He got shot and was left for dead in the hospital when the dead started walking. The idea was basically ripped straight from 28 Days Later, but it is still entertaining.

I'm glad they finally brought in maggie and the farm. but I feel they're trying to add way too much unnecessary drama into the series for the Tv audiences. I'm curious to see where they'll take it from here

I dug the first season. I've got to get another episode under my belt in the second to truly get a feel for what's going on, other than the obvious zombie-filled, apocalyptic scenarios. Although blasphemous, I've got to admit that, not being reader of graphic novels, I've largely disregarded its origin and enjoyed it merely as a series. I'll refrain from passing judgement at the moment, while affirming that the ending of the second episode has me coming back for more.

Whoa! It took forever but what an amazing payoff on the Sophia thing. I cant believe I didnt see that coming. Also, Shane rules. Really sucks we have to wait till Feb for new episodes.

Tonight will be awesome. Rewatched first season last night. Pumped.

I have no T.V to watch it. Unless I go to my friends place on campus, which I don't really want to do. Finally caught episode 7 last night, and the last 5 minutes had me racin!!!! Go me so pumped for the second half of the season!

Just started watching the first season tonight...I'm about halfway through...hopefully, they'll start rerunning season 2 on AMC sometime soon...totally hooked...

So I finished watching the first season last night...and I know season 2 is airing right now...anyone know where I can watch the first half of season 2 to get all caught up?

bummer. you could try to download the torrents online if you use torrent? or use surfthechannel.com or sidereel.com megavideo clips are good quality , I used to use those sites to watch TV shows but megavideo cuts you off after like 75 minutes or something... good luck! its a great show
