I think that the story line has to have sub-plots to break it up..can't expect the group to go around killing zombies everyday...there has to be in fighting in groups and with outside groups as well...I think it makes it more realistic..the whole Rick/Gov thing..I get your point...but I think this whole battle will go back to the survival of the fittest..which is what it takes in that type of setting..plus the gov is an absolute nut..which gives this a bit more appeal...

I agree. I am still watching but kind of hope a mob shows up soon to eat all of woodbury. I am not sure that the gov is the only nut between those 2 right now but is definatley the crazier of the 2.

As for the whole Lori thing..I like it...it shows Rick is human .and even though he has led his group and emerged as a leader..it'll test his mental capabilities..and it shows the wear and tear of everyday life can break anyone..

There seemed to be this thought that Rick was angry with ghost Lori but I did not see it that way. I felt his anger and frustration more to the fact that he was seeing ghost Lori. I don't think he wants to be going crazy and that is frustrating the hell out of him. I am sure Rick still deep down wants to be an excellent leader to the remaining, but dwindling group.

I think he should have kept merle so darrly would stay, sort out the woodbury group with merles inside knowlege then wait for merle to f*** up and lock him up, keeping daryl in the group and merle alive to ensure darly stays. they are in a prison? right? merles perfect home!And adrea wtf! just when woodburys bout to eat itself alive she sets the ship arite! basically plans of going after her former group! what a whack job she is! she saw the heads, his daughter, his expermints, tried to kill daryl and knows he tortured glen. then sticks by him, and basically becomes 2nd in command! WTF!

Is Andrea really going after them? I must have missed that too. I thought something finally clicked with her when she saw Rick's posse. I like her stepping up and hopefully taking over, maybe putting the governor down. I don't know what Rick's doing. The governator is coming for you, circle the wagons dude

she heard glen and merle talk and glen and maggie. knowing that andrea new merle and merle new glen, and merle talking bout the group. she new when she showed up that it was likly andreas group.She also went rogue on the mission and did her own thing. not very good in groups.

the whole dynamic with Maggie and glenn was confusing me last night. all of the sudden they have a problem communicating with each other...like something has driven a wedge between them.
the only thing i can think of is that glenn is questioning his manhood. rick kept him out of the fight, but allowed maggie to go in and do some dirty work....and glen now feels like a pussy? idk. if thats not it, then i dont know what it is.

She didn't get raped but I'm assuming an attempted sexual assault in front of your partner is pretty emotionally disturbing. She's been violated in front of Glen who was powerless to do anything about it and forced to watch it. There's a lot going on there, fear, humiliation, shame, fear, rage.
How do you deal with that in a post apocalyptic world? It's not like you can go to therapy and work through all the trauma.
It's going to be interesting to see how they get through it
