EDIT: Also first Come Together in 537 shows and Guy Forget in 199 shows. I haven't heard this show, but it sounds like there was a lot of good stuff going on.

I went to these shows and I really wasn't feeling it until the Divided Sky jam night 2. I don't know I just prefer night 3 although they were all incredible shows and unique in their own right.

1. 10/20/10 no questions. This is why I travel hundreds of miles on a Wednesday. This show is GOD!
2. 12/31/10 I was in the 400's up against the rail (Dennis the security guy said it was cool where I wanted to stand as long as I didn't stand in the walkways), happy as a clam. Greatest night. All the bad shit that happened this day didn't matter cause it was phish on nye at msg!
3. 9/4/11 I did the last show all alone up front and had a grin the entire time. GIN, GIN, GIN. Did I mention I saw the last Maze opener on 12/9/95....pretty f***ing cool.
4. 8/6/10 there was something in me this night that made the world feel like one giant dance machine.
5. 12/28/10 I made it from Chicago to witness one of the greatest hoods ever. And the rest of the show kicked ass.
5a. 10/19/10 this show gets no love. Maybe the Reba needs to be listened to as mandatory phish fan initiaion.
IYO, it beats a lot of shows. Everyone's different. What're your top 5?

Could not possibly agree with @landladylover more.Also, let's not forget the debut of The Way it Goes (which i expect to hear a lot more of between Phish and MGB), a top 5 harry hood of 3.0 no question, and Walls of a Cave (which is becoming a monster in 3.0 mark my words)

12.30.09 Miami and night 2 Charleston, oct 16th I think (if I remember the date right?) ...those two shows melted my face like 2000 summer tour. took me back to 2000 summer and watching the machiene fire on all cylinders.

have to add night two alpharetta. the storm and the mound of sickness. it was absurd. not face melting like my other two mentions...
but different energy this night - and it was like an electrical hurricane... very surreal to watch the venue empty with fleeing phans running from lightening and falling trees and such.

4. Blossom 2011(just spectactular playing and energy throughout the whole show, no weak points) EXTREMELY UNDERRATED and not just cause I was there.
5. Manchester 2010 (another horribly underrated one)
One thing that confuses me is why do the Bethel shows get so much love? I know alot of people on this site were there, but honestly Bethel doesn't compare to any night of Dicks's and not a single show from Bethel holds a candle to UIC 1 IMHO.

7-3-10 and 7-4-10 should be up on this list somewhere people. Of course when you go to the show it's always a differnt experience, but 7-3 was sick. so was 7-4. 10-30-10 and 10-31-10 were both great shows.
1-1-11 I liked more than the 31st. First Walls of the Cave after chasing that one for 2 years. I teared up...it was amazing.
9-2-11 the SSSSSS show from Dick's is a must. They pulled a phenomenal stunt in typical Phish fashion.
I think the real question is what are you looking for at a show. If you're realtively new to Phish shows you might want a 25+ song type of night with quick jams and "greatest hits".
If you're like me...I'm looking for bust outs, stuff I haven't seen before, wacky stunts and the band connecting with the crowd HOSE style.

If you're going to include a night from Dick's, it should be 9/3/11 (night 2). I was at all 3, yes the S show was sick, but night 2 was better. Night 3 was def. not as good.
Though my opinion may be skewed, as I was 2nd row night 2 and 3, and in the stands night 1. Whatever. Night 2 was the best.
Edit: Also, Hampton 2009 night 1 is a must to include. That is truth.
