Christmas time for the Jews indeed: 9+ straight hours of great games..Boston/NY, Miami/Dallas, Chicago/Lakers (plus two more for the nightcap).
Oh, and GO
I don't expect much this year. John Wall is going to be a great player, but he doesn't have much around him.
GO KINGS!
I finally have a reason to give a damn about the NBA. Because rooting for the Knicks sure didn't help.
Knicks and Heat can suck my sweaty balls.
Watch out for K. Walker this year. Kid looks good in the "pre-season" games, and we all know this is a guards league.
I really don't care about the NBA. However, I'll follow along a bit now that Kenneth Faried is playing for the Denver Nuggets since he is from the same college I went to. He had 14 pts and 5 offensive boards for the Nuggets in last night's pre-season game.
The sausage king of Chicago is a Pacers fan? Mind=blown. It's true. After those damn teenagers ran up a huge bill under my name at Chez Quis, I've laid low in Chicago.
There's hope yet!!Jeremy Lin is a godsend. A magnificent basketball player and is going to bring so much energy to the court for the knicks!

Wait 'till you see how bad my Pistons are this year. It's gonna be brutal. They may fill the void left by The Lions for the worst team in town.Did I call it or what? I think we're like 3 and 30 right now. Probably the worst Pistons team I've seen in my life. My God they suck. Like...really suck.
Edit ^ That Lin kid is pretty damn good! Agreed.
Looking good this year. Probably not good enough to win it all, but they will be a tough out in a playoff series. Just missing a good center really to make some serious waves.
Hey Dwight Howard how about some Philly love?
They have almost 8 players averaging 10+ points a game, but no one over 16. Third in the East though with consistent play, have to give them credit.

Lin vs. Kobe tonight. Let's see how this kid does against a good D.Wow, Lin tore it up. 38 23 28: his point totals from his first 3 starts. Statisticians during the game said that was the highest total since the NBA/ABA merger. Kobe did have some amazing shots tonight and finished strong, but looks like Lin handled himself vs a better defense.
Yeah, they brought in Mike Brown for defense. Chandler and Jeffries will always play D, but Lin + new rookie Shumpert = revitalized team that actually wants to play TEAM defense. Everyone has been swarming the ball lately on D, crazy notion.Mike Brown coaches the Lakers, Herb Williams is the Knicks D Coordinator. Chandler is also a good presence under the opponents hoop

Thats what I love about the sixers this year, they are playing strong D and everyone has bought into Doug Collins' system.
@wooderson said:The Lin story is great but last night is a reflection of how embarrassing the Lakers are on offense. No Melo or Stoudemire and you can't capitalize in the paint?
