MSG Bag Policy

driver Permalink
driver I've never been to MSG before. For anyone who has: the bag policy is the same for this run as it would be any other time, right? If I want to bring in a book bag, that would be okay as long as I go through security?

Jerryhood Should be fine. They will probably do a thorough search, just as a heads up. If I remember correctly from last year, MSG was a little more strict than most venues.

poonutties brought a backpack into 1/1/11 cause i was leaving to go back to ct after the show after staying in the city for a few nights. i opened my bag voluntarily, the guy said "you're fine dude" wihtout looking through it at all. zipped it up and walked through. not saying that this will be everyones experience but i promise you will be allowed to bring in a backpack.

I agree, but that is how it tends to be, especially on laht when you dont actually know most of the people you are dealing with

VibeOfLife I brought in a backpack last year - I even went as far as to ask if there was a place to leave it inside during the show - the security office held it for me - as crazy as that seems - it worked out awesome :) They didn't tear it apart going in either - just a quick peak looking for bottles/weapons I guess.

_________________________ security cares more about weapons and bottles. PSA!!!!!! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HIDE ANY ILLEGALS IN YOUR CIGARETTES NO MATTER HOW "SMART" YOU THINK IT IS. Back in 2009 my roommate had a HUGER joint in there and security took it and probably smoked it, but somehow he didnt notice the glass cigarette in there that has a hole in the mouthpiece
