Musical doc: The Secret to a Happy Ending. Fascinating story of the Drive-By Truckers at the most tumultuous period in the bands history. Loads of good musical footage as well.

I just finished watching the entire series, friggin' hilarious. I'm pretty sure all of the episodes are available for streaming. They have a couple movies too but I think the series is funnier.

Peterfordthebrave Permalink
Peterfordthebrave My two favorite documentaries are The Parking Lot Movie and I Like Killing Flies. They both follow extraordinary people who perform seemingly mundane jobs but who excell at conversation, creativity, and handling the ups and downs of intellectual existence in an "ordinary" life. And if you're looking for a series, check out Peep Show. It's hilarious and not as pornographic as it sounds...Bacon.

I've been watching Louie lately, it's pretty good.

Other recommendations: If you liked Arrested Development, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret

Have you watched Breaking Bad? It's a pretty good series.

ITSnICE I must agree with Cracking the Maya Code....great doc. My favorite doc that I have watched in a long time is a 5 part series called The Pyramid Code. When We Left Earth is a great doc about the early days of the space program. If you like stand up comedy and want to laugh your ass off from beginning to end watch Louie CK: Chewed Up.
