Partial to the simpsons. Its the original. I find southpark just a bit too offensive. Makes me cringe. And family guy is just tv with A.D.D

South Park

Prison Break is also a hell of a show. If you've never seen it watch the first 5 episodes and you'll be hooked

Simpsons without a doubt.

South Park really shouldnt be compared to the other two because it is a totally different style and on a totally differen't level. The Simpsons will always be the OG and hilarious but Family Guy can be extremely funny. I chose Simpsons though. Well i really choose South Park

Nowadays Family Guy is funniest. Southpark jumped the shark ages ago. Simpsons is forevr king because they started it all, and have done it for 23 years.

Really? I think South Park is the only one of those three that HASN'T jumped the shark! I still find South Park to be not only hilarious, but often unexpected. Trey and Matt are geniuses. Family Guy is a shadow of its former self, though I do think it's gotten better during the last season or so, and I still get quite a lot of entertainment out of it -- just not as much as the first few seasons.

I did get a laugh when Trey and Matt were bagging on Family Guy, saying that one of the reasons they don't like it was because it's all schtick. Oh my god, they used schtick!! Those bastards!!

The Simpsons, though, just doesn't make me laugh anymore. I stopped watching it years and years ago. I'm a huge fan, and the first 8 seasons or so are about as classic as classic can be. I did enjoy the movie, too. But the last few times I tried watching it I was just bored to death. Played out doesn't even begin to describe it.

I don't even think Family Guy is Seth MacFarlane's best show on TV (That would be American Dad). In fact, I would go as far as saying American Dad right now, is better than any of those 3.

Simpsons, family guy & south park. Although very little south park, it's hard to watch.

I watched a new Simpsons episode recently for the first time in a long while, and Homer made a lemon party reference. I f***ing lost it! The simpsons def still have it!

the first few seasons of Family Guy were gold. but it hasnt been the same since it came back in 2005/6, and now the bad far outweighs the good. The simpsons had a consistency the other two couldnt touch yet could never reach the highs of south park and even some of the better family guys. Overall i would say SP for its longevity and creativity. The simpsons is 20+ seasons but SP is what? 15? And can easily go as far as current events will take them.

If we are talking about in their prime I don't see how it's not The Simpsons. So good for so long. They paved the way for Sout Park and the others. I still watch every new episode and the Simpsons still puts a good one out there every now and then. When comparing them to South Park you cannot ignore the fact that The Simpsons did what they did on a network. South Park was able to be a bit more brash since they were on cable. Not a huge thing but worth mentioning for sure.

Simpsons.... Not even close

Early South Park wins it. Their ideas were just so funny, now they are to complex and the current events are not as funny. Family Guy was also amazing but not as funny today. As well as Simpsons. Personally south park is the best, but early Simpsons was just too classic. I cant make up my mind.

South Park no question. Trey and Matt are consistently hilarious, and they are amazingly current/relevant all the time. Simpsons is great, a classic but not as smart or aggressive as SP. Family Guy is ADD in broadcast form, can't handle it.

Family Guy sucks. South Park is by far the best of these shows, including the not nearly as good newer episodes. The early seasons were pure brilliance IMO.

1st - The Simpsons (Seasons 1-7 are genius). 2nd - South Park. 3rd - Family Guy

I also like Rock and Bullwinkle a lot. That show along with The Flintstones and The Jetsons are the prime-time animated precursors to all of the aforementioned shows.

Also, has anyone ever seen Lookwell? It was a tv pilot written and produced by Conan O'Brien and Robert Smigel. It starred Adam West. I'm pretty sure only one episode was ever aired. Every time I see it it gets funnier and funnier.

for me it would probably go king of the hill > american dad > south park > simpsons. family guy in dead last over everything, just get so bored of it.

Has anyone seen the 3 part Imagination Land South park series? The best episodes since the early 2000's and IMO better than any family guy episode ever. If you haven't seen them they are streaming on netflix and I would recommend them highly. Seeing nearly every animated character you can imagine battling to the death = epic.
