kidrob i bring fruit if i'm waiting in line or even to have before a show.. It's good to have the natural energy. I gave my remainders to some people in line behind me UIC night 3 this year. I always have tropical twist trident on me at every show i attend. GUM IS A MUST HAVE, and there are always plenty grateful i have it.

Dundun Permalink
Dundun I like fruit because the taste is sweet like wine and I like sweet things like my sisters friend Lisa the hot one that I once asked if she liked fruit and she said no but then I slapped her with a banana but it wasn't a banana it was my penis and she was like HEY and I was like YEA and that was pretty much all the talking we did that night which was pretty cold but not as cold as my uncle's freezer when he kept all the dead animals he found on his way to work and would make a stew when me and my brothers came over but we didn't eat the stew because we once saw our pet cat that was missing for two months in the freezer and it had got hit by a comet. JayDubya I think it was alpine '98, I was on a boatload of shrooms and it was set break. I had an orange with me I was planning on eating. There was a visibly pregnant girl in front of me and I felt compelled to give it to her.

She declined, probably because she was freaked out by me. I only wanted to nourish her.

I remember some moms would have like gatorade and fruit, but there were a few that brought twinkies and moonpies or what ever the hell they were called... to eat at half time. I mean come on... You know I'm going to eat as many rice krispies as I can get my hands on and will be clutching my stomach for the rest of the game.

Put the melon down!" dude comes sprinting by and picks up the watermelon like a fumble and sprints through security with it and into the crowd. Shared it with everyone we could during setbreak. This woman gave me a full pack of cigs for sharing with her whole crew. But I digress, yes fruit is awesome.

Potato_Sacks New summer tour idea, Dollar Waters and Dollar bags of Mixed fruits. Nice.

For setbreak I usually recover from the Phish-shock before anything. I like Cold Apple Cider though during setbreak, brought a thermos of Cold cider into Mansfield this past summer, I munched down on Strawberries before hand too. MSG was chalk full of Whiskey, Beer, Bananas, and Ruben Sandwiches (before hand obviously on the Ruben)

Seriously though, Dollar bags of assorted fruits on Summer tour sounds essential.

Usually go with life-savers for the sugar jones. Fruit is better and you get liquid too, but it's usually too hard to schlepp it in, makes you sticky, etc.

GhostlikeSwayze Cincy this summer...I was trying to find the same fruit-kabobs i had the day before at Blossom to no avail. All i wanted was a little fruit for sustenance pre-show. The sun was beating down and showtime was fast approaching as i scoured shakedown. I really didn't want to get a brat but i did anyways out of desperation. So finally as I'm about to cross the street and head into the venue, I see a dude with a table set up with all kinds of mixed fruits. I asked him how much he was selling it for and he smiled and said it was free and take as much as I wanted. I thanked him and happily gobbled some delicious fruit before the show. It was one of those perfect moments of kindness on Phish lot

There's a reason why the ABB called their album "Eat a Peach". Ever look at the spread inside that album? The skin masks the texture and the juice masks the flavour. Try it, you'll like it!

poonutties At nateva we brought a whole watermelon in. Going through security they were hassling my girlfriend who was carrying it and we hear this dude yelling PUT DOWN THE MELLON! PUT DOWN THE MELLON!!! So my girlfriend does and this dude comes sprinting through security and swoops up the melon without stopping. Takes off into the crowd, guy walks up to us as were like 20 yards from security and gives it back. Cut it up during furthurs setbreak, people were pleased.

Long story short; fruit at setbreak is cool.

So do you think this guy "stole" the watermelon as a joke or because he thought it was going to get confiscated by security, so he removed that sitiation by sprinting through security and into the crowd with your watermelon, thus security not getting their hands on it?

I was lucky eneough to meet MoonMan at SPAC III this summer and he was incredibly generous with the fruit he had. Every time I truned around he was offering me a different kind; grapes, blueberries, oranges etc. It was awesome. Also gave my buddy some gum who had some pretty bad jaw clench, as well as let us partake in his big bag o' Js. We need more people like moonman in our community dude is seriously da man. Hope to catch you this summer brotha.
