I would like to someday see a studio album of all covers.
My druthers:
The album should contain established covers, both done by Phish as well as their respective solo projects, especially the rarities.
In addition, the album should contain some altogether new covers. What those should be I can't say. However, privately, I will let my mind wander.
Cheers.
shameless m'bird pimp: you should check out the 'sharin in the groove' cd
Love you, Mockingbird, and congrats on the new grants.
yeah, i don't think that'll fly given copyrights. too expensive a project for too little a return. shameless m'bird pimp: you should check out the 'sharin in the groove' cdJust gonna throw out the fact that they released 4 entire albums of other people's material (Livephish Halloween releases). The Beatles are especially known for letting copyright fees slide.
You can tear a building down, but you can't erase a memory.

Corey, Vernon, Muzz, and Will
Thanks Again,

I know it is stupid, but I named my dog Harpua. Please play Harpua on either 12/30 or 12/31. I will be eternally grateful.
Also, please keep in mind my house is always open for an impromptu jam sesh. Stop by anytime.
Sincerely,
Jim

I am an orphaned adult with the mentality of a child. Please reach deep down into your hearts and adopt me as one of your children... I can clean and cook and don't take up to much space... my only needs are beer, some form of grilled beef (London Broil is just fine) and the occasional tuna steaks. I will plant a veggie garden, so all i need is a small plot of land and some seeds.
In return, i will support your musical careers by attend every show that you bring my to and will ice cold bottles of water ready for each of you between songs...
yours truely,
Joonze
I'm not completely sure of your intentions, so I am sending the following via UPS Ground:
a daisy chain of delta wing, bird, spreader bars, drogues, and hookless lures, all of various vibrations and colors
feathers, nipple clamps, a full sized tickle chair, a vibrating "massage" tool
a book of riddles and puzzles
a comb
I'm confident this will meet all of your teasing needs this coming holiday season and beyond! I'll provide tracking details for your package(s) as soon as it's available.
Regards,
relax_

I mean, I could go on...
I thought recently about another wacky Phish album idea: all the songs over the last 30 years that never made it to official studio albums, recorded in the studio by phish 3.0. They're playing so well now, I feel like a lot of these could get great readings...not that Think of all the killer songs they'd have to work with Buried Alive The Curtain (With) Possum Camel Walk The Sloth N.I.C.U. Mountains in the Mist Slave to the Traffic Light Meatstick Brother Destiny Unbound Mike's Groove Runaway Jim Simple Buffalo Bill Spock's Brain Carini Tube Suzy Greenberg I mean, I could go on...I really hope they wouldn't do anything like that. It would show their lack of creativity and that they are fine with resting on their laurels.
Write new music. Hopefully inspired new music.
You guys probably wont even practice for the new years run so why should i buy tickets?
sincerely,
Bozo
Dear Phish,

Dear phish,They can't find it anymore. Sad, but true. They gave their Murat detector to some director a few years back.
I love the creek, but do you remember a little room called that Murat?
Thanks,
Ben
