this song is the watermark for how great our band is. the fact that this song causes so much ire and ill feelings speaks volumes, because if the counting crows released this song the shit would've blown up. spanish dances indeed, maria. that one of phish's 'worst' songs (i honestly don't hate this song, nor would i lament hearing it live) would have been a radio hit for most other bands (and this is probably why it's so hated) speaks volumes about our and their integrity as fans and musicians.

I used to love rap, and they have always used the n word in rap, but there are a ton of rap songs nowadays where they say the n word like fifty times in the song. There is one hit song on the radio now where literally like half the words in the song are the n word.
