Wow people are crazy for these Junta Pollocks. Saw one guy on PT brag about getting 3 of them. What exactly are they and why are they so highly desired? I'm out of the loop, have no idea what they are. And how many are there total?
Apparently Bull Moose and some of it's founders was behind the creation of record store day. Pretty cool. I was just on the phone with them and they told me there were 2500 regular Junta vinylns for $45 each, and 2500 Pollocks for $72 each. The store closest to me had 4 regular and 1 Pollock. I could have had em.
He ordered the regular one for me and guaranteed I'll get it and said he'd try for a Pollock but that it's very unlikely. Wondering if any stores anywhere have an extra Pollock. I guess e-bay will have some soon if they aren't already listed.
EDIT: e-bay has 64 listings so far, going for $150-$200 or more

Jim is the original "in-house" artist for Phish, I believe he was Pages' roommate. He did all the early flyers, flyers then became posters. He did designs for t-shirts as well as well some ticket stubs. While a print run of 2500 is large for Jim the fact that this is coupled with their debut album, for which he did the album artwork is HUGE. Jim's print making process: ALL hand cut linoleum block, ALL done on a hand press, VERY hands on and labor intensive. What's even MORE is that this harkens back to his cleaner two color prints he did from pre-hiatus days.
SO....180 gram 3 LP release, old school style Pollock print, to me that's just magic.
Good luck to all those looking.

This release is a REALLY big deal.Wish I'd known. I had no idea this was coming, just wasn't paying attention. My local record store had one and could have ordered me another. I suck. I'll find one via trade.
