@forbin1 I did get my tix, but I'm kind of crabby seeing I'm in the 200s. But I really like people watching so it might work out. My step bro & his wife live in Anaheim practically inside Angels Stadium so I'm planning on going a few days early for family chillin time, baseball, & Disneyland with the step-sis in lawPeople watching is half the fun imo...Nice that you have family close by...if you go on space mountain let me know how it was...Are you driving out there or flying?
@westbrook are you hitting any shows this summer?Yeah I'm going to the Portsmouth shows. Which ones are you hitting?

I associate that run with two things...1. One of the best Harpua's and 2. Lack of breath mints
@forbin1 so at the outlet mall here they totally have a pool where they put you in a bubble & you roll around in it pretty much like that picture only a shade less glamorous.trying to find the glamor of rolling around in a human hamster ball...perhaps in a bikini?
No gimmick, still working on the perfect one. Maybe the giant shish kebab? I got distracted by planning a Long Beach outfit around my @joonze beach shirt

@forbin1 Band was good. I wouldn't follow them across the country but I would pay up to $30 to see them again. OK maybe $40. They were kind of moe.ishSounds like it was a good time...did you come up with some sort of gimmick for the show?..similar to a spinning rhombus..Perhaps an inlflatable bubble...you coud be bubble girl...just roll around the show until you reach the rail...clogging up the aisles, etc...

@muggleballs Oh hai! I have few on my team..Jackson and Valverde...Jackson had an awesome night for me...Delmon Young didn't do himself any justice getting locked up for a hate crime...herrrooo! Yeah I would have much rather have him be an embarrassment to the great state of Michigan on the field. No Justin Verlander? He doesn't know it but he's in line to be another of my future ex-husbands

I thought that was the case from the end of the 2010 season to the beginning of the 2011 season, but I didn't know about last season.

@Phlat_Brim_Kid not complaining about the strip club. Just pointing out all the lovely neighbors. To be honest strip clubs aren't my thing. I've been working in that area for just about 10 years and have only been once. @edsullivan, that is reason enough for me to not use a date of birth. @DrPeterVenkman said:Names are of course fine as are birthstones and such, so do that if you are so inclined. I have Maxwell tattooed on my forearm, not a portrait, his name, I said to my tattoo artist that I think I want his DOB underneath his name. He responded pretty quickly, "I don't do birth dates man." So I ask why. He tells me that he knows that every beginning will eventually have an ending but, why beg the question? So in the tattoo world, at least for those that really get into that stuff, inked birth dates are essentially begging for an early death.I hesitate to put the kids birthday on anything like that, just a little superstition I picked up from my friends at the tattoo shop. This is interesting. How bout initials and birth stone?? Because regardless of the fact that I never heard of this superstition now I have and it will be stuck in my head

Understated, everyday, but special.Exactly. That looks perfect. I really like the one letter per charm thing as well. Since "Ian" is only three letters maybe I'll do that instead of initials. Hhhhmmm......
@mfhgreyboy the charm necklace is a great idea. I think I'll go that route. Sure to make her cry (in a good way). My wifes college roomates family owns a jewlery store not to far away. They are usually a little pricey but have nice stuff. I'm off tomorrow, so I'll head over there. Thanks man @Edsullivan, I have a cheese trick. When making burgers on the grill fold the corners of the cheese in this way nothing melts down the side into the grill, instead it all stays on the burger!I received this from my mom when I had my son. That one went over better than pretty much any other jewelry I've ever bought my wife. And it doesn't need to be very expensive at all. I'll bet that she ends up wearing it all the time so I'd go "durable" over "frilly" if that makes any sense.

I've got to come up with something similar this year (first mother's day since Ian was born). Although I thought about a second charm for her necklace, I think she'd rather have something different that's unique to him.

I'm kinda interested to see what's going on out there. Supposedly some occupy protestors were coming to visit my company's many offices today. We were warned not to show our badges outside of the building.
