I am an old stagehand and musician. I have worked for many years in various jobs all over the country both as a freelancer and in some full time positions. In 2003 one of the companies I worked for was hired to provide all the labor for "Coventry" so off we went. We spent nearly a month in that town on that land both before and after the show building the venue, setting up the site, building the stage, and setting up all the lights and sound and video and eventually all the band gear. The community of stagehands backstage was a show all on its own. We had various types of lodging. I myself was housed in a ski lodge nearly 45 minutes away but it was very very nice. Since we are all crazy and are used to getting little sleep each night turned into a party. Our house being the largest often became the place everyone came to. One particular night when all the stagehands were there I grabbed my guitar as I always do and started playing some songs that I had written along the way. My co-workers have heard these songs before because well I always play them. One of the guys there had a 4-track recorder and he quickly set it up. One of the songs I played that night was titled "Piss Wall". Its all about the giant wall we built that surrounded the entire corn field turned venue we built to enclose the performance area. This is the only recording that exists of that song.

While we were taking down the stage I found this book that lots of fans had written in and apparently thrown on the stage for the band. They were long gone so I have held onto it for all these years and now I have scanned it for all of you to enjoy.

Geez, cut the guy some slack. After all, he was kind enough to save this book and even kinder to upload the 50+ pages of it. He joined .net last week, I'm sure he'll make other contributions in good time. Also I got a real kick out of the song and the stories that came with it, as I'm sure others did, so I appreciate his self promotions.

I made a thread linking to the voting page in another message board that I frequent and asked people to vote for you. You should use Facebook and any other social media to get the word out. I can gaurantee that most of the other musicians who are vying for that studio time are doing that. Good luck.

Yes I still work for the company and several others. I do have lots of pictures but I am staggering things for obvious reasons. I don't want to be a pest so I am trying to make sure I have things to offer.

Clean vibes is a whole different thing than what I do. We are the production crew for events and big festivals and other not so exciting events. But I think we all know how much hard work clean vibes does. I can't really say I know anything about how the company is run.

It seems like I am going to be sending it directly to Phish for the Archives but I am still waiting to hear back from them. I will mention the Waterwheel suggestion. But this book is in delicate condition so I am not sure being handled by thousands of people would work very well. I do agree fans should see it and I know we will come up with a good solution.
