It just hit me that it is memorial day weekend.What an awesome 3-day run. Such a blast.

I would love to be at Narrowsburg campgrounds, drinking whiskey, sitting in the sun, and waiting for the show. I love that feeling of anxiety that builds inside me and explodes at that first note I hear of summer, NOTHING LIKE IT IN THE WORLD! ......Well maybe Bacon Tits!!!!!

Was actually tomorrow. One of my more enjoyable runs I've done.
1 year ago today, and about 3 hours ago, I had snuck in for the Bethel soundcheck and sat and watched it from the bottom of the lawn for 1.5 hours. Heavenly, until a wook who snuck in with me started yelling in excitement and got us kicked out.

I've been just a bit melancholy all week leading up to this anniversary. It's bittersweet but all good. I'm presently rocking the "second second set opener" Back On The Train (after the the "Aw-fuck-it" Carini opener) and can almost feel the cool grass on my feet and the warm Kuroda magic on my face...

Ended up seeing the wook who got me kicked out the next day, he was arguing with his wookette in the parking lot before the first show. Nice guy, he'd come from California. Sucks he had to start chearing, my plan to sneak in was perfect.
