Muse & Coldplay. They both just come off as pretentious to me. Also Slightly Stoopid.. They just seem like douchebags. Which brings me to the disco biscuits.....

I had no qualms with Kid Rock. Wasn't my cup of tea, but what he was doing was mostly harmless. Perhaps one of the biggest Oscar snubs of our generation, as his work in Joe Dirt was not only inspired, but inviting.

However, while I was at the mall the other day, "Werewolves of London" started up, and the kids in front of me said "Oh man! Kid Rock, sick!".

No, Mr. Rock. Don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining. Every time I hear those notes dance off the piano, and your nonsensical attempt at music plays in lieu of Mr. Zevon, I can only imagine an angel stubs its toe.

I won't even link the song. If you know it you know what I'm talking about. If you don't know it, then maybe society isn't doomed. Yet.

Primus, kill me if you want to. Now you might ask why and Les Claypools annoying voice and weird basslines are the reasons why. I also don't like Oysterhead despite Trey's presence in the band.

Dirty projectors are the worst thing I've heard that doesn't involve yoko ono.

Parliament funkadelic is one of the worst acts I've ever seen.

I saw tommy lee get booed off stage once, it was fantastic... what a slob

Blink 182 was the worst live performance I've seen to date. I've seen people in high school play their songs better than they can.

The biscuits blow, but I wouldn't hate them so much if people didn't try to ram them down my throat so bad.

Honestly, I think lotus and sci are two of the most overrated acts out there.

Mighty mighy bosstones were horrible.

Whats with every Phish fan DESPISING Bisco? I'm not necessarily a fan, but I think they're pretty good. They seem to be the most hated band on this forum, while no other jamband ever really seems to get any hate

O.A.R.- least favorite band of all-time. Literally anyone could do what they do.

I also dislike the Red Hot Chili Peppers quite a bit. People act like they're the band of this era sometimes, but they've really done absolutely nothing influential.

THANK YOU. I blame myself, because I allow myself to get tricked. I'll be at a bar that is playing horrendous music, I'll hear the piano kick in, give myself a "heh...Zevon...nice"....and it never is....

I actually had a lot of fun seeing OAR back in high school. Yeah they suck, but they got me off of punk rock, and it definitely paved the way to me eventually being able to appreciate the Phish.

hahahahahahaha.... there are songs i dislike.... but i cant say bands...if i hear "RED SOLO CUP" ever again i might bash the radio or tv its coming from...then smack my wife(I have never hit her, she would kick my ass)...but bands as a whole, no... not one i hate... but i choose my music wisely and play it to the crowd thats hanging....

I like DMB, I hate there fans.

I was at Hangout fest in Bama last weekend. The crowd there was cool the whole weekend, until DMB closed on Sunday. People are bitching left and right about people taking there spots. People who are laying in the sand in complete darkness are bitching about getting sand kicked on them and getting there shit stepped on. As I'm trying to leave DMBs show, only a few songs in because I was too far back to see and I was tired/hungry/thirsty/had to pee (ended up sleeping through half the show in the sand) people are trying to make blockades and telling me I can't walk through them. People honestly think they own a piece of land on the beach and that no one can walk through it. It took 30 minutes to exit the crowd, despite the fact that I was already halfway back.

What makes me even more mad is I check the Hangout message boards the day after the show, and everyones bitching about DMB jamming too much. What kind of f***ing "jam band" fans complain about too much jamming? I would kill for Phish to jam more. Worst fans of any band in America, bar none.

Dave Matthews played at a private party at my club, and i had the priviledge of having a beer with him. He is a nice guy and he is talented, but yet I am not a fan of the majority of his music but I could listen to some of it.

on the other hand, I DETEST

any rap that has come out in the last 5 years or so (especially Lil Wayne and those douchebags)
dubstep
heavy metal
and Primus, I think they blow

but i was just let down

i love how we all embrace phish and can have such radically differing opinions on other bands

and IMO, Primus does not blow, PRIMUS SUCKS!

Not sure how this is gonna go over, but I'm gonna put it out there. I absolutely cannot stand The Eagles. I feel like it's about the equivalent of this new age crap they call "country" music. I know lots of folks think they are amazing, but I just can't get into them at all.

A long list can be made for acts that have shown up in the 21st century and embarrassed what good music used to be. It's as if society just became too stupid and what is accepted as music these days requires next to nothing in the way of musicianship. Oh well, for now we have Phish and forever we have shows to download. Just go play the Denver '97 Ghost, for example, and then put on Maroon 5 or something and you'll probably shake your head in shame. I know I do.
