Other tidbits:
There has been construction on Hwy 12/67 in Elkhorn (if you are heading to whitewater area). It was supposed to end late June but I haven't heard if it's over and have been avoiding that area. Something you might want to check out if you are heading that way.
Also you will probably get pushed back onto 43 or 120 post show...plan directions accordingly.
Have fun all, see you there!
Look for the camp with the Jolly Roger flag or the dude with solid black tattooed arms, that's ME
Country View Campground
It's located conveniently right behind Acorn Liquors.
And it looks like temps in the 90s thru the weekend and burn bans are starting to pop up (no fireworks).
Stay safe and stay hydrated!
It was an epic firework though, i must add.
Definitely be careful with fireworks, i got a ticket a couple years ago after lighting one off after the show. Cop was right behind me, so pissed.Yeah, they wait for that post show.

Our crew was placing bets to see his long cops showed up when our drunk neighbors started launching them from the top of their van after a show in 09.
Edit: and it took the police under 5 minutes.
be safe and have a blast!

Rick's Eastside Pub in Whitewater, WI has an amazing Bloody Mary bar on Sunday mornings.I will absolutely be stopping in for bloody mary's on sunday morning. Nothing beats a good blood bar! Does this place serve breakfast?

Hi:
We just wanted to follow up with those who had recently sent us e-mail asking about the upcoming shows. Due to the extremely dry and dangerous fire conditions, grills of any kind, fires, fireworks, and any other burning will not be permitted in the parking lots for both the Phish and DMB shows. Please plan accordingly.
Regards,

Had a feeling they were going to drop that on us. Bone dry lately.
Campers...I know east Troy and lake Geneva have bans on campfires. Be safe all.
Plenty of tickets remain for both shows.

Anybody know if the ban on fires extends to Kettle Moraine campgrounds? That place is in the deep deep dark dark deep dark forest and I might not be able to see the WoOk until he's right on top of me!Not looking good. City of Jefferson and all that their fire dept serves have a burn ban...so depending on the campground location you might not be able to have a fire.
campground phone numbers are at the bottom right of page I would just call and ask. If you can burn PLEASE get your wood locally, as there are huge issues with invasive bugs.

anyone concerned about the weather for this weekend? I'll be camping at McIntyre's and keep noticing that isolated thunderstorms are predicted both Sat and Sun with a 30% chance or rain. I'm from AZ and only used to dust storms this time of year, any thoughts from the locals??We've had some warm temps and with that come chances for storms. Humidity is on the way down, which drops chances for storms. We were at 40% on sat and it recently dropped to 20%.
Personally, I would be surprised if it rained and if it did it would be popcorn showers...and it wouldn't rain more than 15-30 minutes.
I would worry more about heat (mainly humidity) than storms.

Winds look like they will be calm-5mph. Sticky days and nights.

Third print of three point oh to feature tree houses. You and all your true stories!
True story.
I wonder what's going on in those treehouses...?
Police cited 85 people for possession of marijuana, 21 people were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and one person was arrested for possession with intent to deliver.
About 37,000 people attended the two-day concert.
In addition to the drug citations police also issued tickets for:
Fireworks — 2
Disorderly Conduct — 5
Simple Battery — 1
Underage Alcohol Consumption/Possession — 7
Trespassing — 2
Littering — 1
Speeding — 9
The Walworth County Drug Enforcement unit issued an additional six disorderly conduct citations.

Note: NO vending tickets. ~15K in attendance Sunday.
The alpaca people camped next to me at Scenic Ridge said they got a ticket for vending glass in the lot.Muy interesante...they must not have included those. However, I did see more [open] vending than previous years.
To me, it sounds more full and crisp compared to a hollower sound at times in 09 and 10.
I also forgot to add, does anybody else notice the superior quality of 2012s sbd over years past?
