Drink water

careful_w_that_axe_Miller Permalink
careful_w_that_axe_Miller No matter how f***ed up you get, hydration is key. Do not fall out bc of dehydration, if your pee is brown chug water down.

Hydrate yourself, no less than 32oz water and chug it, beer does not work.

Thought I was gonna pass out at the end of the 2nd set DCU N2. My friend and I hopped onto the floor (sorry guys) and only had one water bottle for the whole show. We didn't have wristbands since we jumped over the rail so we couldn't leave to go fill it up.

I'll never make that mistake again. I can hardly even remember anything after weekapaug!

I drink two 16 oz bottles in the hour or so before every show, and then I take another one in with me. Gotta stay hydrated for sure. Don't be a noob, drink that water.

Just typing that is scary, if you stop sweating and feel nauseated; don't start chugging water bc you have heat stroke, first everyone chill; then find ems, heat kills. just drink f***ing water please.

This, i was on 5-7 hits of some fire at wakarusa last year and my buddy dropped out b/c of the heat. One of the scariest moments ive had to deal with, luckily he was alright and i had some people around that saw my distress and my friend on the ground to help us out.

Definitely. Of my crew of four friends, only I was allowed to bring a water bottle in so we were all taking turns jetting off the lawn down to the water fountain. I spent the whole day just sitting around drinking water by the gallon and eating mostly fruit, yet I only had to pee once and it was dark yellow, nearly brown. That shit freaked me out big time. BY the time of Bug I was running on pure mental willpower to survive and make it out to shakedown for the "two for f***in one" water bottle guy/

i can commiserate here concerning a 2-CE trip. my buddy went down and it was extremely scary because we had eaten it at the same time, and started to come up at exactly the same time 3 hours later. when he fainted, I was sure it was about to happen to me any second, and if not, at least we were doomed to have a bummer of a time during which i would have to nurse him to health. As it was, my fears were unfounded; he drank some water and we laughed the night away watching Shark Week.

julyfer The colour of urine is one of the best ways to recognize dehydration level. Therefore, it is important to keep an eye on the colour of urine. Straw coloured urine indicates a good fluid intake; the darker it is, the more you may need to drink. This chart will help you to see how urine colour might vary with hydration status. dehydration level

Anyone else have like a set beer to water ratio? At Alpine this year I was doing a gatorade for every three beers I believe, the heat that weekend just wouldnt allow me to get drunk... This isnt a bad thing, I felt great all weekend just a little woozy towards the end of the second set first night because we were in the pit
