So how many of you fine Phans have heard the absolute beast of a Melt from 12/7/95? The jam chart for Melt simply describes this jam as WTF!!. The In-a-Gadda-da-Vida teases at about 5:00 in are very eerie and a great way to get the jam moving very nicely. It thunders a long way before coming to an ear-splitting Melt climax, then has a short, spacey outro. All this to open the second set. Simply outstanding stuff, Trey slays this beast like the motherfucker that he is.

Yeah it's disgusting but so is the entire show. I mean it is one of my favorites and one I always listen to. Phish doesn't get any better than 12-7-95 imo.
