Just curious who all is going and where you are coming from.
Coming from Michigan. These will be my first Colorado shows since 1995.
Nice! i am coming from indiana. I saw em for the first time ever last year at dicks all three nights. Best three nights of my young life so far
ill be there. coming from orlando. was there last year and theres no way im missing it this year. too much fun last year
Was watching some videos of SPAC on youtube last night, which effortlessly segued into me checking on flights into Denver...
What was the venue like last year? The place looks huge and the stands look really far away from the stage. Is the field far superior to the stands? Were field tickets easy to come by last year?

The field is def better than the stands. IMO but the stands arent too bad either. i rocked it in the stands friday night last year and still enjoyed it. Field tickets are easy in advance except for saturday night this year for the field is sold out. Last year on the lot most tickets i heard people trying to get rid of were stand tickets. How ever you can get there or what ever tickets you can get i think are well worth the money and time invested.

I will be there as i leave in Denver. if you guys haven't booked a hotel yet I suggest the warwick hotel. Its centrally located, reasonably priced, and has a kick ass roof top pool.
here is also a link to a sweet party bus event running all 3 days. http://www.j2glive.com
if you were to stay at the warwick they have a courtesy car that could take you to the party bus.

I'm hoping that they release more field tickets like last year. I think they try to sell more stands by making the field unavailable, but that's just my guess. But I'm hoping that's true because I just want to buy a 3 day pass, should have done it earlier but I always procrastinate on tickets. Coming from South of Denver, have a friend just a few blocks away that will let me crash if I can't drive home.
i would just get friday and sunday fields now. you won't save any $$ by getting a 3 day pass and will only have to worry about one day. I am sure even if it is sold out you can get a field for saturday for under $100 and thats only like an extra $20 to have peace of mind.
True, I'm debating but this same thing happened last year and I bought a 3 day pass 2 weeks before the shows. So....I dunno.
Flying in from MN:-). Very excited!

Driving from SLC- still don't have that weekend off for work yet, I won't know til Aug 20!tell em youre going on a big phishing trip with friends and you can not work that weekend. sounds like a good plan to me
Coming from Rochester, NY, can't wait! One thing i have to ask, are the GA field tickets capable of getting you into the pit if there is one or do you have to buy those seperate? Which leads to another question, is the pit seperate from the field or is it just the one big field which allows you to go anywhere? Thanks in advance! It's one big feild... with weird plastic flooring. No separate pit tix.
I got to about 3rd row last year near Fish (night 2). Showed up about 30 mins before show started. I doubt itll be that easy this year, with all the hype from last years show. BUt you never know.
Last year was sick, can't wait for this year!!

Awesome, thank you! See ya in Commerce City!
its just a big field so you are either on the field or in the stands.
great rates available at the sheridan downtown on hotwire right now. $88.

3 day passes for the field are no longer available. saturday fields are sold out. i would get fri and sun while you still can and try to make moves on the saturday. Worst case scenario is you pay a little over face from stub hub or something.
pretty sure you need to buy a ticket through tickethorse the call them to get camping. not 100% though.
coming from boston. first time to colorado for me, second time for the lady friend. i am so excited. just gotta get my tickets now, i like the friday and sunday field idea, work on saturday later. we oughta set up a .net camping meetup of sorts. thatd be fun
coming from Illinois, first Colorado shows, and I can't wait!
great party bus option for those staying downtown. most hotels will have some sort of free car service to get you there.

I saw this on PT as well. Are you affiliated with these guys or just passing along info? I was wondering if that thing can sell out or if we can get spots last minute? (procrastinating friends)
I am one of the people running it. Its first come first serve and we definitley plan on it selling out in advance as thats usually how it goes. If there are open spots we will welcome walk ups but i wouldn't count on it.
no problem. honestly i would say if you guys booked it by the first week of august you'll be fine. anything after that can be risky.
It really depends on our friends here in denver. Between my partners and some of our sponsors we probably have around 100 friends planning on coming. That said they are notoriously lazy. If they wait there will be spots. If they get on it then things will fill up sooner than later.

speaking of my lazy ass friends so many of them are now looking for field tickets for saturday.
can anyone explain to me why people who know full well they are going to shows wait on getting tickets and then bitch about getting shut out?
