Want to help me out?

ThatOneGuy Permalink
ThatOneGuy Hey everyone, I need some help. I want to give my drum teacher, a 50 year old touring drummer who played with Buddy Rich for a few years and is a big Zappa fan, some Phish tracks to listen to. I want to show him some good composed stuff, so of course YEM, Bowie, Divided, but I also want to showcase Fish's talent. I want to make an hourish long CD so any recommendations where to start with certain versions of songs as well what songs to include?

Bozo3 party time. read fish's interview from 2010 i believe. he took lessons from a famous drum (name scapes me right now) and from those lessons he developed an exercise he did alot while the band was on hiatus and then from that exercise he wrote the song party time. I never liked the song much but after i read that i had a new appreciation for the song. Then i witnessed SPac's party time and i was hooked.
