Seriously dig this cartoon.Finn, the last human left on Ooo(Earth) and his magical dog pal Jake get into adventures and shenanigans. It has great art direction. The story lines, gags, and jokes are pretty good at getting children's attention without being slop with no real point. There is usually some kind of "lesson" involved in each episode. One thing I enjoy is the made up or otherwise disfigured words these guys throw out. (Shmowzowcow, Banaynay, Redonk) They definitely know how to pander to the "adult-child" with the jokes too. To put it simply, "The cartoon is weird." Take Johnny Quest, Ren & Stimpy, and Invader Zim and smash them together. Then sprinkle some psychedelics on top. Then put it in your mouth, chew, and stick it under the desk and that's Adventure Time.

Ever since I started watching this show I always thought the creators were a bunch of eccentric trippers.
I am now certain my initial thought is true.

I'm more of a Regular Show kinda guy, but Adventure Time is definitely diggable. Didn't even notice the apocalypse implications on it either xD

I had only seen a few minutes here or there until this past weekend. I'm sold. The shit is funny for being a kids show, and has some awesome psychedelic/psychonautic elements to it.

The New season is killer with alt wish reality fin! Me and my son have watched every episode at least 3x!I love what they did last season with the ice king and marciline, that the ice king was normal once!

This show is absolutely amazing. Despite its goofy, simplistic initial appearance, there's a lot of hidden symbolism and recurring themes popping up. Is it bad that my housemates and I (all in our 20's) are more obsessed with this show than any child I've ever met? We literally spend hours analyzing the show and coming up with crackpot theories about it.

Epcot call @Frizz. I love this show. I dig how it actually has a pretty radical backstory behind it that they are now starting to dive into. It having taken place in a Post-Apocolyptic time after an event called " The Mushroom War" They throw in all sorts of references to this in every episode, it's pretty intense.@Spencur6 - J.G. Quintel is a boss. He did Flapjack too. I was so stoked when Regular Show finally came out.
