Holy shit I will freak the f*** out if they play there. 20 mins from my house.
We gotta get a huge Roc City pregame going at the Dinosaur right across the street.

It was told to me that Phish may have booked the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY (where I live) for January 20, 2013.May I ask what your source is? Because I'm getting my hopes up BIG TIME right now lol.
Come back to Greensboro. It holds the most people, yay money.

Word! I'm in Webster. Definitely keep us posted on that. We should work out a pregame/after party.
A friend of mine who has a connection to Blue Cross Arena. I work with someone else who is an usher there as well. I will do my best to confirm. I know rumors are just that, but it was interesting news to hear. I live in Brighton, 5 minutes away so I'm all for it. The fact that it came with a specific date was a positive.

@Thebag: DO NOT SAY THOSE WORDS! YOU'LL JINX IT!
I really doubt it, but you can always dream :-) My buddies brother is high up in the Hampton PD. He'll get the tip off if it is going to go down. The Coliseum would need to notify the PD in order to secure enough officers to arrest all your asses and make their tax quota for the year.
While I try not to get swept up in the rumor mill, fall/winter tours just seem so right. If they do indeed pull out a surprise late winter tour, I might need to do my first ever full tour. Here's to crossing fingers and toes, but focused on what's ahead first: Colorado, New years run...Methinks this is one you dan indeed get caught up in. I might call my Brother and see if they have a hold at TUC in Albany.
@Phrank518 said:This would be awesome. But.......doubtful. It'll be at Wells Fargo for Philly.Philadelphia...please?@ Tower Theater!?!
Of course DCU is always welcome but I remember reading in a recent thread it will be under renovations?

Philadelphia
Oh Yeah!!
Oh Yeah!!
If they are doing a January Arena tour, they need to come back to the Verizon Center in DC.I agree since my one of my good friends just moved to DC
If they are doing a January Arena tour, they need to come back to the Verizon Center in DC.Yeah that's about the only indoor venue in the area the right size for Phish. The Comcast Center at UMD would be cool too but they don't really book concerts there.
Another weird East Coast option could be the crappy downtown arena in Baltimore - I don't even know what its called. Good central location though and Phish always brings out the best in an aging arena.
The Patriot Center at George Mason could probably work as well, Furthur played there a in 2010.That is where my buddy is going to school, lol
The Patriot Center at George Mason could probably work as well, Furthur played there a in 2010.I think the scene would overwhelm Fairfax, but Further did pull it off recently. Somehow I doubt it though.

The Verizon Center is huge - 20K - I would love it because its a quick metro ride from work. As a transplanted PA guy, they would obviously do CorestatesFirstUnionWachoviaWellsFargoFederalGovernmentChina Center. That's 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. Very old.

I would looooove to see them get back to the Murat. I think if they are celebrating their 30th some of those venues w/ classic shows should be hit. I think Hampton, MSG, and Worcester are gimmes, but i'd love to see them go back to Binghamton, Portland, me, coral sky, etc.If they do the Murat....I'm in!!!!
Seriously, I wouldn't put anyting past them.
They could do anything.
