BUMP THISDr. John is the f***ing man, the Jerry Garcia of the bayous, taking a bunch of traditional music, mixing it together and throwing some doses into the pot. The doctor even lost a finger just like Jerry.
I love the arrangement, especially the back up singers, of this song.

He is everywhere. Love his appearances on Treme. And we just watched the Wavy Gravy documentary, "Saint Misbehavin" and who was singing Wavy's song while the credits rolled? An all-star lineup featuring Dr. John front and centre. "Wouldn't it be neat if the people you meet had shoes on their feet and something to eat? Human Needs.. doin what comes.. naturally."
