This next Lottery will close on midnight of October 15th, and the drawing will happen at 12:00pm CST on October 16th. This way the winners should start receiving brews around Halloween! It is the responsibility of the winners to be in contact with other participants as far as arranging shipping methods and letting others know what you like, can or can not get etc...
Remeber in no way are the members of Phish.net, or Phish.net itself held responsible for any actions here, and of course you got to be 21 to participate!
If you want to be "In" just add a comment to this thread saying "Im In". You may also add where you are located and some of the brewers in your area!
In the end, at some point everyone should win! And we can keep this up as long as everyone who participates continues to ship beer. Do not get involve if you don't think you can handle the costs of a few bombers and the 10-15 bucks it costs to ship! Remember if you don't ship you are out!
Im sure I have forgotten some minor details that we can hash out in the upcoming few weeks, but these are the basic rules of how the game works. Good luck!
I still need to ship mine to you from the last lotto, but I'm in. And don't worry I'm good for it.
I'm in.

@KimboSlice...Send what you want duder. I sent 4 local bottles plus a Bomb 22ozer. Granted it cost me nearly $30 after shipping but I did it bc I wanted to rep Western New York (and brooklyn b/c I love six point). Send what you feel comfortable with. Winner is not allowed to complain.

couple of you didnt actually say your in? Your not "out" yet got a couple weeks, so just reply back "In" if you want. As we get closer, and discussion continues, we can maybe hash out some actual rules, but I think its worked fine so far. Pretty much based on the honor system, and also obviously no one is gonna mandate that you send 50 bucks worth of beer. Send what you can. Remember that when you send to someone, when its your turn to win, probably gonna get back at least as much as you sent out, per person. The great part is only once a month do you have to send beers, but when its your turn to win you get back more than you ever have to send, so in the end everyone will at some point be getting a nice stash of bad ass beers!
I think that the winner of the last round MUST be in the next round or something like that so people don't win and disappear.
I think we should do this once every other month or 3 months. I definitely can't afford to do it every month.
Before we begin round 2 I'd like full reports from the previous winners. Maybe the reviews deserve their own threads, @flatbottomfrank and @tripsforjoeg?So far I have reviewed everything I have tried. A few things are being put away for a later date, see how they age. So could be a while before they are cracked open. Ive only received 5 of 15 so far, but the ones I have got are very nice, and everything except one beer has been top notch exceptional.
And new players should be given the option to send beer to one of the last round winners to be eligible to win in their first contest. If their beer arrives by the draw, they are eligible like everyone else who has shipped.
I think prior winners should be allowed to win right away. If you have to ship at least once to win, then you have paid into the game. It makes sense that if the winner runs the next round, they have to sit that one out, but I think that should be it. Multiple wins isn't unfair, because it is random. This is a great idea. Except somehow we must have a moderator every lotto, so last winner makes for good host of next lotto. I like the new player ideas. this is how we get it done, thanks GG

Here's a vote for the first timer buy in rule should it be considered. Plenty of great Mass brews to go around. We're in the midst of an historic beer growth and distribution period. Glad folks are keen to it. Just say when and where. Is Pretty Things available to those beyond New England?
I think prior winners should be allowed to win right awaySeriously? Were making newbies buy in but people can win back to back? Doesn't seem right.
If 15 ppl shipping you free heady beer isn't enough for 2 months then you have a drinking problem and should probably take it easy.
Put down that 9.3% double bock and pop a Coors light.
I think that the winner of the last round MUST be in the next round or something like that so people don't win and disappear.I feel just the opposite, if I win I should be excluded from the next round.
Spread the love (at least for a month).
I would love to get 20 different beers wow thats a dream. I will have to go get a garage fridge @joonze
@golden_gorilla said:Just my opinion. A back-to-back win won't be possible with the winner running the next round, but I would rather accept the 0.16% chance of a repeat win than have rules about how long the winner must sit out. The fair "everybody wins" idea only works if you get a fixed number of people to agree to a fixed amount of time.
For example, 12 people agree to play for 12 months. Everyone ships 11 times and wins once.

Both winners sit out one month, if they so choose they can still send beer but that would be up to them. Then after one month, if they want they can enter to win again.

Just had an awesome lunch with my wife at my local watering hole where they tapped Pliny the Elder at noon. Just a fantastic beer. Wish they had that around more often. So, we had lunch at the bar and I overheard a couple next to us talking about the shows at Bader field. Ofcourse I interrupted and started up a conversation about Phish and hear the guy has over 300 shows under his belt since 1989 and he was one of the original tapers at shows. Cool guy, full of Phish nerdery. I asked him what was his favorite show out of the 300 he's been to and he said the Wormtown show from Amsterdam. He has cool stories of the early days where Mike and Fishman crashed at his place after some shows and in hotels on the road. Cool lunch! Nice start to my birthday weekend!
