So the @thousanddollarquestion appears to be are you playing Risk in that top photo?CLOSE! i am considered a "risk communicator".

The Office

The View. You can usually see the Baltimore skyline out my window, but it's pretty cloudy today.

I work at the University of Maryland Baltimore County
So the @thousanddollarquestion appears to be are you playing Risk in that top photo?Good move grabbing Greenland. Nice buffer if you own North America or Europe.
BTW - Is your job to watch Greenland melt?

I mean, do some chairs have gross stains? Do some co-workers not shower? Drafty spots to be avoided?
There's got to be a lot going on there to tighten the old mind-vice before you even start routing ships!
Is your job to watch Greenland melt?We route ships. Big ones.
Some carry bulk goods (sugar, grain, barley, etc etc etc etc)
Some are container ships, carrying just about anything.
Some carry cars, trucks, buses.
Some carry logs.
Some carry sheep, cows, guyutes.
you get the point...
It sounds like @thousanddollarquestion has to play Risk every day to get a decent spot. That is madness! These are essential questions.

I mean, have there been significant sea mishaps that could have been avoided by assigned seats?
"Boss, yeah, I know we just lost a 1,000 ton freighter off the coast of Reykjavik, but dammit it's not my fault, I was in the icky seat and got distracted by this gum under the desk."
It sounds like @thousanddollarquestion has to play Risk every day to get a decent spot. That is madness!you're on the right path. I sit in a a draftier spot in the office. so I always, even in summer, carry something warm just in case. We keep the comps clean. Mutual respect around the office, so everyone cleans fairly well. We have plenty of tools to disinfect.

the biggest fight is chairs. it is comical really.
I'll try to find a photo of the Atlantic Ocean
"We all know that Thompson over there has been methodically farting in every chair. C'mon!"Why do fart jokes ALWAYS crack me up? Have to kick on a cough attack to cover my slacking!
