I thought this might interest a few folks on here.

It is an Imperial IPA so the magical ingredient will need to be pretty powerful to be noticeable in that beer, rose pedals wouldn't cut those hops.
I used to like the Dogfish, now I'm sick of themI'm going to agree with you. They went from focusing on extreme brewing to focusing on extreme marketing. That Brew Masters show on Discovery was completely ridiculous, the owner Sam seems like a complete tool.
if it were a phish beer then there are a lot of possibilities
Coconuts and Chloroform?
I'll drink the 60 on draught, but otherwise its not one of my favorite breweries at all.
I used to like the Dogfish, now I'm sick of themyeah, been a good year or more since i had DFH....its more of a winter beer anyways

To each his own....60 minute is an excellent session IPA. 90 minute is delicous. The India Brown is very good as well.
Meh. Still love the 90, 120, Palo Santo and Raison

What do you call a mushroom that walks into a bar and buys drinks for everyone?
A fungi.
Thanks I'll be here all night.
Did they make a 75 Minute? specialty? I could've sworn I had one at a party recently.Yeah, I've seen it once. I don't think it gets really wide distribution though. Then again, I haven't been beer shopping in quite a while.
Did they make a 75 Minute? specialty? I could've sworn I had one at a party recently. What, did they collaborate with the 6-minute-abs people on that? Get it juuuuussssttt right?
The first couple 4-pks of Dogfish I ever bought were skunked. That set the tone for me. I'll drink the 60 on draught, but otherwise its not one of my favorite breweries at all.The 90 minute IPA is the IPA that got me into IPA's. Other than that their stuff is pretty meh. Last interesting beer I had from them was Midas Touch, but it's nothing I feel the need to have again.
While dosed beer would be awesome, a more realistic ingredient might be rose pedals. However, a rose pedals would be appropriate to compliment the floral elements of the beer. If they want something that is going to be noticeable it will have to be pretty bold. Something subtle but meaningful might be a better bet.

However, I agree with all who are over Dogfish Head. Loved it back in '02ish when I first heard about it, but I have found so much better beer since then.
Deschutes? That's gross man, I'll take Colorado beer thank youWHA?? They have several excellent beers. Black Butte Porter, Inversion IPA, Obsidian Stout, not to mention a lot of their more limited release stuff.
I do also love Great Divide and put them right up there as well.
@gskatz said:They also make a 120 minute that I've only seen a couple of times. One of the few times I've seen it was actually on Phish lot. Dude made it his goal to sell two of them during the day. It's overrated if you ask me. There is definitely such a thing as too much hops.Did they make a 75 Minute? specialty? I could've sworn I had one at a party recently.Yeah, I've seen it once. I think 60 min and 75 min are probably their best brews...75 is rare but if you can snag a bottle, do it. I've tried a TON of their other ones too. Dogfish Head isn't bad like some people make them out to be but they just push the boundaries of beer which I think is awesome. I've really enjoyed some of the weird things they've put out over the last few years.

Did you guys hear about the Dogfish collaboration with Phish?A pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel coming out of his fly.

The bartender sees it and asks the pirate, "What's with the steering wheel?"
The pirate answeres, "Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrr, it's driving me nuts."
