Picked up this little gem today. Word is this is limited to 12 copies worldwide!
Anyone else score one?
They were GIVEN AWAY at several indy record stores around the country. My local shop (Twist and Shout in Denver) did a scavenger hunt. Found it in with the Willie Nelson records.
I is happy.
...does this mean I used up all my Phish karma for the week and I'll get shut out for NYE?

So, are they labeled at all? Or just,"oh yeah, buy it and it MIGHT be test pressing"?Look at the pictures. It comes in a plain red sleeve with Trey's autograph. Labels on the vinyl say "TEST PRESSING."

They held a raffle for theirs. Me and my daughter put our names in, they started playing the album at 7:30. By the time Clint Eastwood came on, guy walked up and handed it to me. We were the only ones who showed up last night!Amazing story.
@FatahRuark said:Typically test pressings come in a plain white sleeve with a rather non-descript white label. A lot of times the white label will have the band and album hand written on them.@jerryguscia said:I was asking, because sometimes they put that red sleeve and the vinyl in a cover (like the actual Traveler album)So, are they labeled at all? So new word is that there are more than 12 of these. If anyone can find an accurate number it would be cool to know.
I do have quite a few test pressings that I know number over 100. Mostly given out as promo copies to radio stations. This was back in the day (late 80's/early 90's) when all albums came out on vinyl though (and 'normal' people still bought records).

"BK Music has a extremely rare (just over 20 being given away nationwide), autographed test pressing of the new Trey Anastasio album, "Traveler"
