alot of people hate on this genre and ecuse it of not being music...well i completely disagree.
Think of it like this, many rappers(shady, big, pac, ect.)freestyle which is the act of making rhymes on the spot, but they arent just rhyming...they are poeting or IMPROVISING. Thats what phish does, rappers just do it in their own way without instruments and to be honest, i respect that. What's Your Opinion?

I was in this camp until I started actually listening. Illmatic is what turned me around.

Good hip-hop satisfies a part of my brain that other music just doesn't touch.

Hip-Hop is quite possibly my favorite type of music. Although, most people I know also like it or at least don't hate on it.

Typical Cats are one of my favorites ever. Legends here in Chicago and virtually unknown everywhere else.
