Twiddle

the_Crested_Hogchoker Permalink
the_Crested_Hogchoker I saw them back in the Spring. A friend of a friend's band was opening for them and I was pretty certain that I was going to see your standard Northeastern/Mid-Atlantic jamband, but they put on a great show and did some really unexpected stuff.

You're right dude, they're a lot of fun.

SicMD Yeah there pretty much sick...... Ive seen them a bunch as I live in Killington. The lead guitarist is mahalie and he uses a digital loop in some songs to create a HUGE sound. They are prone to jams that include phish like jams. More than a few times ill pick out reba jams. Yeah thats right random reba jams... SOOOOO SICK. Whats even better is they played a bar in manchester right before manchester phish 10/10.. So basicly I got to see twiddle open up for phish right before my favorite most epic show..... DEF check them out. SIC

twisty_m Gnarly sound! Cool backdrop and lights. And who doesn't like a lead singer with braided pig tails, am I right?!
Thanks for the heads up on this band, dude. I love discovering new bands and sounds; this site is pretty helpful with that. Everyone here has amazing taste in all genres of music.

mangobrain I caught them last year after one of the MSG nights. What a great aftershow! I hope to be back in the States by the 20th of December. I think they are going to play a gig in Beverly, MA on the 22nd.

lefty I dig the Fishman-esque drummer and the lead guy. The keys dude needs to get some chops, "swing" a little bit, he's a bit stiff, you know. Throw a B3 hammond in his pile.

Nice, I've seen them at Stella Blues before. Seen Twiddle probably 6 times now, they put on a great show. Cool guys too, I've burned with them before, my buddy has been to like 20 shows so he knows that pretty well.

They are DEFINITELY Phish heads. It was no coincidence they played in Colorado the same weekend Phish played Dick's.

I've heard them do Divided Sky, Heavy Things, and one other I can't think of. Also did a YEM tease in one song. That was the first time I saw them, lost my shit when he started singing YEM, was real stoked.

They just need another album and new material to switchup shows more....its nearly the same every time except for the jams. But, a very good upcoming band indeed and will definitely put together a big fan base

Loving this twiddle love!

Reba jam?? Interested. I would love to hear this if you have a jam to share... Hear what where you're coming, because when I've seen them they do a Harry Hood from some of their jams.

Main point from me was I love these guys. Great people and great music. GO see them if they're in town.
