Page with The Metermen 11/2 in DC

westbrook What a great show. The funk was deep all night. First of all, the Howard Theatre is a great venue with a ton of history. I had a front row spot in front of George the whole night and I could feel the bass hit me in the chest. Musically, the show was really good. They jammed a bunch and pulled off some nice segues. Aside from the music, the highlights were Leo (the guitarist, not Page) joking about the whiteness of the crowd and having my ticket signed by Page. Page sat down on the stage after the first set and signed a lot of autographs and chatted with people. I thought that was cool. As the band came on the stage for the second set, I gave Page one of @BajaPhish's "We are Everywhere" stickers. He read it, smiled, and put it in his pocket. There was a great crowd and the band was very appreciative and shook hands with a lot of the audience, including myself. Overall, a great time.

Here are some pictures from the show:

ivy_light Nice! Really wish we could have made it out for this but had so much good music to chose from around DC this month.

BTW, did you know that the Howard Theater is older than The Apollo? Definitely a storied venue.

westbrook Yeah the Howard Theatre is definitely historically significant. The band mentioned they had played other famous venues like the Apollo and they were thrilled to be playing the Howard Theatre.

Oh and here's my signed ticket

Great show, great time, great theatre! Just posted in another thread,
but here's some HD (720 or 1080) video of Hey Pocky A-Way...

As well, here's Page holding up someone's Fluffhead, while signing autographs at set-break...

And lastly, for now, Page seemingly happy and healthy!!!

I was the one who gave Page the pin of himself. I'll try and put some of my pics up later.
