i keep hearing that it's going to be a big year for dates, but does that mean like the normal show quantity of 3.0 or 1.0?
Personally, i would love to see the following, but this is all wishful thinking:
Winter Tour. 8-12 shows, northeast based
Spring Tour. 6-8 shows in the pacific northwest with stops in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver.
Summer Tour. 14-20 shows culminating in a festival. Ideally for me, the festival would be in either Maine or Vermont. I was happy they played the Essex gig, but Vermont needs a genuine run. Maybe there's too much pressure with just 1 night in VT, so play 3 days, relax, and tear up the backyard.
Fish will wear a dress.
Page will make painful facial expressions when playing.
Mike will be a no-show due to a new occupation...

I heard Mike and Trey are going to be on a little ferris wheel that will be set up perpendicular to the crowd. There will be two platforms on opposing ends of the ferris wheel where each of them will stand. The whole night they'll just rotate slowly around and around.
In the confusion it will create a whirlpool in the crowd of folks trying to stay page side
Living in Oregon I wish they would spend more time in the Pac-Northwest. Obviously the Gorge is wonderful, but they could also play Portland (my hometown) Seattle, Vancouver, B.C. and Boise. They played them in the past. No reason to just plop down at The Gorge for two nights and call it good. I really hope they will do a serious West Coast tour this year.
It will be memorable. Could be last, 30 is an even number
Not possible...theyre too happy right now to just stop at 30. They're best friends and absolute sluts for playing live music. I can confidently project that we'll get consistent touring for at least a few years, but I'd say realistically 10+ years left, easily, if not 20.
See ya at their 50th someday!! Lol
Nothing until JuneThis, also with an anniversary run.

The entire tour will be KY based. Just to keep me happy......I could work with that

Likely nothing until june...but I would totally entertain the idea of a 2013 spring mini tour (Island tour Redux)
Summer Tour Leg 1 - Mainly Northeast.
Summer Tour Leg 2 - Mainly Westcoast/Pacific NW.
Festival either between legs 1 and 2 of summer tour, or late summer after leg 2. (Watkins again, some other northeast racetrack, or maybe limestone)
Full fall tour ending with a 3-4 night Halloween run.
Mid-Late November/early December Winter tour, mostly northeast.
Wrap the year up @ MSG.
Phish in Maine. That's all I ask. Even if it's just one show.
2 nights Hill Auditorium, Ann Arbor

they are doing a winter tour for sure. Januaruy or February. Northeast is in for a treat.nah after the MSG run they're done until the summer.
they're heading back to the mothership during the fall tour next year
In all seriousness, I do hope for a spring tour, because that seems like the only likely way they'll hit the northwest with more than two Gorge shows. Seattle, Gorge, Portland (hometown, I live 15 minutes from the Rose Garden), Eugene. I can see them playing a fest in the northwest, too.
There will be shows unless some unforeseen tragedy happens
Blackeydsloth Please don't let this get out to to many people but, Well I shouldn't, Ok, no really, well I hear. Shucks they are gonna kill me. Dammit I can't hold back anymore
There will be shows unless some unforeseen tragedy happens
Score: -1
Ah we got a cranky because someone don't wanna hear the truth
Should be a big year
Jeff Holdsworth hologramTaken a step further:
Phish vs. 15ft tall Hologram Phish, NYE gag 2013
Hologram Phish can be a prerecorded barn session jam (or from an old show) that real life Phish can jam with...
/Cue Xzibit: "Yo Dawg, I heard you like Phish Jams..."
"The Loring Commerce Centre is a industrial and aviation park that is home to over 20 employers with more than 1,300 employees. It was developed from the former Loring Air Force Base which was closed in 1994" ~ Wiki
Anyone have the link to the page that lists when past tours have been announced historically? know what I'm talking about?I DO know what you're talking about.
der ya go.

Sick!
Nothing until Junethis, with a few extras I have gathered
June - July tour with NE festival
Full fall tour
NYE at MSG
-the plan is to play the last 5 states they have never played before. it is not set in stone, but they plan to try. scheduling it is part of the problem with Alaska and Hawaii in there
-they are going to try and hit all their favorite spots, which also means they will prob hit all of OUR favorite spots. They will be back at Hampton next fall!!!
- I was told I would never guess where the 30th anniversary show is going to be held, no other details. so hopefully someplace new/cool
-plan for a quiet 2014, see them next year when you can
So it looks like the Island Tour, 20th Anniversary, Vegas 04, NYE and other short runs have all been announced just two months before the start of the run. The February 2003 run was announced three months before.
I say anything can happen in 2013.
Leg I - northeast, mid atlantic, midwest
Festival
Leg II - california, pacific northwest, dicks
Fall
Late september thru a halloween run
Anniversary run
Late november thru december 3
NYE run
Four nights at MSG
Something along the lines of 2009 or 2010 is my prediction
