catching my first umphrey's show! sad i'm not able to make it to the garden this year, but i'm excited to see some new music. not to mention only having to drive 3 hrs, free place to stay/able to save my money and don't have to worry about taking a week off from work.

College football for me...I'll see where Notre Dame lands and think about my NYE plans. If we're talking national title game, then I'll save my pennies and attempt a trip to the game. If no national title game happens for the Irish or they completely breakdown, then I'll consider returning to Nashville for the Music City Bowl and the party in the downtown Nashville honky-tonks and bars. The Music City Bowl isn't the biggest game on the dock, but I have some good friends in Nashvegas, so my trip will be well worth it.

Just saw Lotus last night. Their guitar player sounds a lot like Trey in certain ways. These guys are definitely worth a look if you haven't seen them yet. Very solid all around. Haven't seen enough shows to know the songs or anything but I would consider seeing a lot more Lotus concerts when Phish is not on the road.
