These hippies come With guitar and drum
On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.
Lead us not into the Biscuits
And deliver us from Umphrey's
::points at pants'd GM thread; in best Nelson voice:: HA HA!
Did y'all vote early if you had early voting in your state? Me neither. I hope there will be a rush for the doors tomorrow like at a Walmart on the day after Thanksgiving. There's no better vision of the glorious democratic process than a good, old stoompeding at the polls.
"Would you say it's time to panic?" "Yes, I would, Ken."
My prediction for the election is that the meme thread will 699.
GM.N, at least it's light out.This is true. Enjoy it, 'cause it'll be gone by 5PM...
Still dark here. Sleeping patterns all buggered up...well, just woke up an hour before my alarm, that sucks enough.
I'm looking forward to a week of utter hellish work. Getting shut out of the .net there. I guess it's back to leaning my Kindle against my cpu discreetly.
Hope everyone is healthy and safe.
Love.
I vote at my son's school which is in our neighborhood 5 houses down my street! A very convenient 5 minute walk. I didn't vote early so hopefully my location works to my advantage.
I'm in the middle of a separation; I'm having to leave my amazing neighborhood with the school I've been walking my son to everyday from kindergarden to second grade. I don't have family nor any outside help. Too many mixed emotions and thoughts resonate through my mind daily.
@dave25 Sorry about my stupid period thread.
Our polling place is only a couple of blocks away as well. Early voting was huge here in MD. Lines were up to 5 hours long at some places. I'm hoping that means less hassle tomorrow.
::inhales deeply::
Wake up and smell the democracy!

Also, 5/8/93 Mike's for breakfast thanks to LP RadioThat was one of the first tapes I got when I was getting into The Phish. Very special show to me to this day. Check out the whole thing if you have never heard it.
When did early voting start? I don't remember hearing about it other then absentee ballots.Here in MD it started on Halloween and finished on Friday. Would've started on the 29th had there not been a hurricane.
How can these blowhards argue that legalizing Medical Marijuana will make it more regularly available "on the streets?" Do they really not realize how readily available it already is? What a joke.

Sandy, Earthquake* -> Nor'easter
*featuring Gov. Chris Christie on glokenspiel made out of the bones of local TV reporters
Saw something about Prop 3 in MASS Being 60% For, 23% Against, and 17% Undecided. That was cool news.
Here in MD, we're poised to legalize both gambling (Prop 7) and gay marriage (Prop 6).
Vice and equality. God bless America.
http://youtu.be/DfkEe8rLP_cJust had a fantastic solo dance party in my bedroom! Thanks!
almost time for democracy. Can't exactly say I am all super jacked up for it but w/e it will have to do until I have something to be more excited about.
I'll go to the polls tomorrow. Wife voted early. She doesn't like going down there in person.
My friends and relatives in NJ who generally think Christie is pretty much ridiculous are giving him an A+ in how he's handling this debacle so far. "We are...Jersey Strong."
Derptastic week ahead of me here at work. I am looking forward to the election being over, regardless of the outcome.
Signed on the early voting, I have anxiety that something will happen to me on election day & I won't make it. We don't have anything exciting on the ballot, 10 years ago we had legalizing up to 3 oz of marijuana for 21+ on the ballot, I was like one of 15 people who voted for it
@twisty_m hang in there
I'm donating blood today & I have been stressing about it since yesterday

Weddings/bachelor's parties really seem to be getting more and more expensive.
I understand your concerns. I'd have a hard time committing a lot of money to further education at this point without the significant prospects of a payout on the other end. Where I'm at now, with my undergrad degree and the experience and references I have, a masters of arts in anything really doesnt get me shit. Maybe like a masters of science in economics to refine quantitative skills, I could see doing that. If there was a job as an economic analyst for like $20K more than I'm making now hanging for the easy pickings.
But def for something broad like "marketing" check out CCs - not too expensive, and you can get conversant and more knowledgable about what that universe is.
If you want to do something concrete, learn how to code. php is one that I'm hearing, I'm sure there are others. But there are companies up here that literally cant hire fast enough right now.
Got a big week ahead of me. I find out about this new job, hopefully today. I have court Wednesday and Friday to finally get this thing moving. I'll find out just how bad things are gonna get, or if the worst is finally behind me. Really just want to get through this week and know what the deal is already.
My weekend was very, very mellow. Ran some errands Saturday but basically spent the weekend lounging around.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
