You...do realize that "joke" makes some implications about Obama voters that extends beyond "they have no jobs", right? I ask because you seem like an intelligent, entirely pleasant person, as I assume everyone who posts here is.I mean he's already got that 47% on lock

And I'm going to leap out on a huge limb and assume that some of them, if they're registered voters, would probably cast a vote for Mitt Romney tomorrow.You...do realize that "joke" makes some implications about Obama voters that extends beyond "they have no jobs", right? But by all means, let's make stupid assumptions so that an idiotic, semi-racist joke might actually be kind of funny.

And what I'm saying is that there's exceptions to the rule.
I was a journalist for 11 years and covered some of those same kinds of places you talked about, and there are people on all sides of good and bad.
There are those who work, lose their jobs and then actually use welfare as just a stepping stone to self reliance and an actual career.
And then there are some (while not the majority but still a significant percentage) that view entitlements as the end goal. And some think "I'm votin for Obama 'cause he help me get my money."
To deny there's welfare abuse is just not in touch with reality, and to deny that Obama has grown entitlements of all kinds (even bumping unemployment to 99 weeks) is the same.
So while @MrMinersBrother's joke seems shallow and, as you put it, "a stupid assumption" it's actually true in a socio-anthropological kind of way ... it's f'in hilarious taboot.

If you are suggesting romney is getting any chunk of the minority vote you are sadly mistaken. I think republicans are going to have to completely revamp their ideals to win future elections in an effort to pull more minorities

I do agree that the GOP are basically punting the minority vote for this election cycle and probably future election cycles - which, given demographic trends, is astoundingly, hilariously stupid.
jesus christ, @n00b100. it was a joke. lighten up or your head is bound to explode, man.Okay! Sorry I said anything!
:::proudly votes straight republican ticket:::
Well then. Civic duty being done, lets see if I can stash some income in offshore tax shelters and then maybe post something funny on the internet. Big day of working hard to save 'merica.
Humor is the racists way to seem endearing while making himself feel Superior. Tolerance, fairness and acceptance are not YOURS to give, Honkey. The sooner you people realize that the better.
