These hippies come With guitar and drum
On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.
Lead us not into the Biscuits
And deliver us from Umphrey's
Gettin it up for the big day
da dun dun dunnnnnnnn
woke up this morning...
had a baguette in my pants!
Wait a minute, what day is it?
Going Phishing all day. Don't really want to hear any of the cube talk going on today. Already had my fill and I've only been here 30 minutes.
Just wanted to say hi... I'm retarded for coming on here at werk...but I'm an addict.
My name is Jolene, and I am a .Net addict.
Is the election over, I want my NPR back? And my wife too! She's been working crazy hours since she is the editor of a small town daily newspaper in the only state that matters this election. It has been terrible for the last couple days and it might not be over tonight.
My voting location opens at 7. I plan on heading over, voting, and coming back and getting some sleep, then watching the news/Twitter all day. Should be great!
Getting ready to head to the voting booth. Gotta figure out the locals I'm voting for first.
Safe for work, but maybe a little weird:

What's up, people? Good morning. Only 24 more hours. Then the bitching about the results can start. Not that it will be any better than the last few months, but at least it will be different.Sounds a lot like this place after the NYE lotto
@mfhgreyboy said:Exactly the same. Everyone feels like they should get tix/their candidate elected, and everyone who feels differently is an imbecile. Whoever doesn't then simply moves on to bitching about ticketmaster/electoral college/voter fraud. What's up, people? Good morning. Only 24 more hours. Then the bitching about the results can start. Eventually, people end up spending a whole hell of a lot more time and money to attempt to make sure they circumvent the results they don't like and ensure that it doesn't happen again next year/4 years from now.
Anyone switch to snow tires yet? Snow here tomorrow in CT potentially. We put Em's on, but that was as much a function of her summer tires being dangerously bald. I tend to live dangerously, generally put it off til after Thanksgiving. We're usually not snow-covered til mid-december anyway. A couple sporadic storms before then, I'll just pay attention and be careful.
Nice avatar, @mfhgreyboy...
Waking up and going to the shower the past couple mornings my throats been f***ed up. When i get in the shower i spit up what looks like a thick yellow blob like when I quit smoking. So why does it feel like I quit smoking again When I haven't had a cig in oh i don't know 9 and a half months. W.e
Have fun with the voting everyone and wave that flag.
Nice avatar, @mfhgreyboy...Indicative of my participation level in this boondoggle. AND, he's my write-in candidate. I think he's got a shot.
Can I get you a Fresca, @johnnyd? Hmmmmmmmmmm? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
Completed my civic duty. My polling place is the elementary that my kids attended. Haven't been in there in years.
Can I get you a Fresca, @johnnyd? Hmmmmmmmmmm? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm? You'll get nothing and you'll like it.
crossquote'd, but pretty appropriate
@Jayem I have your 75's sitting right next to me.
At work, no kids but LOTS of seniors and baked goods. Will vote later today... the race in CT is really all that matters. Im in a blue state anyhow...
@birmy I have the deviants as well. I may be in a meeting about the time you are coming I'll text you. Around 3. Worse case I'll leave my car unlocked.
@johnnyd that is some high quality instigating you're doing over in the other thread
I'm pretty sure I'd kill myself before I ever put snow tires on my car. I'm depressed just thinking about it being 60 this weekend
Any of you CTers voting for Linda McMahon?I just posted this in another thread:
I really dislike Linda but Murphy has really gone "carrer politician" since getting the seat 6 years ago.
I can't even imagine the amount of money those two spent trying to kill each other. Every day I have some elaborate mailer in my mail box from both of them. What a wast of paper.
I will be voting for Murphy but they both smell like 50lbs of Bull Shit
Anyone familiar with The Brew? They are playing at a bar in Hartford on Saturday. I am half interested. Wondering if anyone here has seen themThey are fun.. I haven't seen them in a while, but its a good $10 show.

Gotta drop off a pile of food at the food shelf this AM. We finally pulled the gardens. Some people are gonna get to eat more kale.
@johnnyd that is some high quality instigating you're doing over in the other threadheh. thanks. i don't really allow myself the indulgence that often.
Woke up super early today and went for a nice, albeit cold, walk around the reservoir.
Got my second, of my first of three (keeping up?) court dates tomorrow. Stressing a little but tomorrows date isn't that big of a deal. I just need to pour on the charm and convince the court to give me an extension to pay my probation fines/fees. I have some paperwork from my most recent job explaining I'm on lay off. I should also be hearing form this new job sometime today (was hoping to hear back yesterday) So, if I do hear back at least I can go in there with not one, but two jobs. They should give me the extension. My lawyer is shooting for January.
Judge me all you want, I'm only voting to legal marijuana in the great state of Massachusetts.
Hope .net is having a splendid day. I'm a mixed bag today. But I'm still smiling.
I'm still smiling.Good on ya.
Good luck with the court date and (I'm sure) forthcoming job offer.
I interupt this election day with some great "Katie" news... The buyer of my home just confirmed with my lawyer that he will let me stay in my current home (rent free) until I move into my new house! This dude is getting a full, stocked, top shelf bar from me!!! Kindness of others kids....Congratulations! I've been telling you since day one everything will work out. I'm not a "I told you so guy" But...
awaiting recounts, supreme court decisions and eventual military coup; regardless folks things are about to get easier, for real for real.

Sweet avatar @muggleballsI know right? I'm feeling a little saucy today
@n00b100 you mean like a flaming drag show? Guuurrrlll you better work!

Not that it will be any better than the last few months, but at least it will be different.Hopefully it's decided by tomorrow morning but I fear it will drag on for another month. It'll probably come down to a few counties in Ohio, Wisconsin and Florida. Yay electoral college!
I went to collegeMe too but sometimes I kind of wish I joined the circus instead. It's the place for me.
Floodwood, two guys from Moe. Jam-grass kinda stuff. They are at the same bar as The Brew next Friday. Seem to be more my style.
Any opinions?
