Jimmymac03 Awesome, and true. This could really pave the way for a change in federal law. I am on the edge of my seat, bowl in hand, awaiting the results.

Just kidding, I'm still at work ;)

Drgordy I am very curious to see how legalizing marijuana changes things. A friend of mine says that tobacco companies have been buying up large tracts of land in Colorado.

Well until it is legalized on the federal level I am not sure a whole lot will change. Look at the raids the Obama administration has been doing the last few years on legal dispensaries, farms, etc. Will they continue with this?

I don't know, depends on how bold people get in growing. If it stays small, like home grow ops I doubt it. But if people start filling warehouses things may change. Particularly when you consider marijuana crossing state lines.
I doubt big companies will step in now, but I'm sure they are positioning themselves for it.

Harrynuggs Let's hope people are responsible about it. I was telling my wife that if I were fortunate enough the get a card in Mass I would still smoke the same amount I do now, which is a couple times on the weekends. I would be great to be able to pick strains out legally. I get stupid and lazy if I burn a bunch, but that just me.

It's not just you. I feel the same way. Im not going to go back to smoking all day every day. The idea of shopping for it like craft beer is very apealing yo me.

n00b100 I'm a non-weed smoker, but the more places it's legal, the better. I'm really rooting for Amendment 64 and all the other places it's on the ballot.

My only question is what is the Sin Tax on MJ gonna be like? Hell, they'll bend you over and violate you with a corn cob pipe just for a few grams.

Edit: NBC calling the colorado prop passed according to NORML.

Brian Williams was hilarious last night. He kept making jokes in total deadpan. He was also refreshingly honest. In regards to spending on campaign ads he said something like "I keep thinking about what disease could have been cured with that money." He also said something like "Donald Trump has driven well past the last exit to relevance." He also made a joke about Utah being a surprise win for Romney. Great stuff.
