He still doesnt have the house so unfortunatly four more years of stand still.not necessarily - his party is picking up senate seats, they might actually hit that filibuster-proof 60 finally. there are ways of bypassing the house. and besides, winning a second term will make some of those tea-baggers fall in line.
Good can everyone finally go on with real life now?dude, let us think we actually accomplished something for 5 minutes at least!

Edit:
BTW I really don't care which 1 won or wins. I don't like either however I would definitely not vote for Romney. I do have to listen to all the bitching now though about how this one won't do what this one would have. Over and over again the game still plays UGH!
Of which a razor thin election gives him none?
@benevolution said:The term doesnt just apply for landslides, its generally applied to any successful reelection to a second term. but you're right, the term is thrown around a bit loosely lately. still, the gop congress will have to come up with something to do with themselves besides "Deny Obama a second term" which is all they've been focusing on since the day he was sworn in. Their tactics of deliberately making the country worse off in the vain hope that it would result in a loss for Obama don't apply now. Now they have to actually do their jobs, and since most of them ran for Congress with the sole purpose of making Obama a one-termer, they don't know what the f*** their actual job is.for those who think the next 4 years will just be a repeat of the last 4, read up on the word "mandate" as its used in politics.Of which a razor thin election gives him none?

@LarryHood - this time's gonna be different...Lol untill he does it again!
I tend to keep my political opinions to myself. Both candidates had pros and cons. Whatcha gonna do, eh.
Just came in here to say congrats to Obama and wish him luck in the next four years both of them had things I did and didn't like. Hope he can do the best he can with the cards he was delt four years ago
now it appears Obama might actually have the popular vote too. not that that matters, of course....He will win the popular vote with mostly west coast votes to still be counted.

"I have solved this political dilemma in a very direct way: I don't vote. On Election Day, I stay home. I firmly believe that if you vote, you have no right to complain. Now, some people like to twist that around. They say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain,' but where's the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent politicians, and they get into office and screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You voted them in. You caused the problem. You have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote -- who did not even leave the house on Election Day -- am in no way responsible for that these politicians have done and have every right to complain about the mess that you created."

He still doesnt have the house so unfortunatly four more years of stand still.I'm actually hoping Congress got the message loud and clear. They were not rewarded for trying to stall the President out of office. They actually lost by more then last time. It clearly didn't work. The people have spoken. If Congress learned anything from this, I hope it's to not try that again.
If they didn't learn anything then you are probably correct. I'll give them all a chance to start over.

Obamacare is huge progress in health care.
The economy is getting better. Not as quickly as anyone would like but we stopped the bleeding and started the way back up the curve. 4 more years like the last 2 1/2 would be fine with me. Had we continued to lose 800,000 jobs a month we would be way worse and at a stand still.
War in Iraq is over.
Auto industry is alive and well.
I cannot call all that stand still. They could have done so much more if Congress didn't have it's priority to remove Obama but I think it takes away from the mans first 4 years to call it a stand still.

Obama has done great things. Thats why I have his back and worked for him twice. I cried a little bit when he pulled it out in early hours of the morning. progress is good
four more years four more years
